My self-summary
So I really need to update this profile. I feel like a lot of the questions that I answered years ago don't really reflect the person I am these days (I answered them at a time of my life where I was convinced I was the Nice Guy Finishing Last. Yeah, I used to be one of THOSE guys. No longer). I could either go through and reanswer all of them or nuke my profile and start over, and neither option really appeals to me.

So I'll give you a tl;dr version: film school grad. Kind of a nerd. Trying to be a decent person at all times. I think GamerGate is one of the most repulsive movements my social group has latched on to. Superman is way cooler than Batman.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently came to a point in my life where I had to make a fresh start. So I'm back in Central Indiana to do just that. Still working on finding my feet again.
I’m really good at
Making stir fry.

Driving cars safely through traffic.

Befriending dogs.
The first things people usually notice about me
My cautious driving style? I have no idea, nobody's ever really told me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Currently working my way through terrible sci-fi. My book preferences tend to be really shallow, as I read to escape and I think the real world is depressing enough these days.

Movies: Pacific Rim, Thank You For Smoking, Star Wars, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Stranger Than Fiction, Children of Men, The Fountain.

Television: Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil, The Flash, Game of Thrones, Forever, Parks & Recreation (RIP), iZombie, Farscape.

Music: Black Keys, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Daft Punk. Y'know, the classics. I mostly listen to podcasts, though. Serial (Adnan never should have been convicted), Welcome to Night Vale, The Thrilling Adventure Hour, Ask Me Another.

Food: Big fan of Chinese stir fry. I make a mean stir fried kung pao chicken, as well as my own fried rice recipe. A good pizza can also get my attention fairly effectively.
The six things I could never do without
1. Satellite Radio
2. A Good Dog
3. Bookstores
4. The constant connection to the outside world emblematic of the internet age.
5. Moments of sublime happiness.
6. Steven Colbert's Americone Dream ice cream.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
There is a thin, semantic line between weird and beautiful and that line is covered in jellyfish.
On a typical Friday night I am
There is no typical Friday night for me yet. Get back to me in a month.

A month later: Working, apparently.

Later still: working or jogging around my neighborhood. I've recently instituted a "Lose some friggin' weight" mission, and it's so far been successful. I would, however, love a workout buddy so I can have someone yelling at me if I slack off.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Felicia Day once replied to me on Twitter.

I managed to break the strongest bone in the human body in two places during an extremely low-speed, easily avoidable bike accident. Ask me how!
You should message me if
You're looking to show someone around Indianapolis and thus be a cool person.

Or if you're Leslie Knope.
