My self-summary
I'm genuine, down to earth, I enjoy the simple things, intimate conversations, and I don't take myself too seriously. I also get really excited talking about my favorite shows/quotes/movies/music.

I'm pretty easy-going, it really takes a lot for me to get upset. I'm always down for random adventures, hiking, beaching, swimming, going to Target, and watching Arrested Development or Mean Girls.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Pitzer college (bonus points if you've heard of it) where I studied Psychology and Film Studies. I'm currently an assistant editor at a company that edits movie/tv/video game trailers and it's literally my dream job. Well, my childhood dream job was a mailman/doctor, but in retrospect I probably would have just been half-assing both careers.
I’m really good at
Staying positive, I really strive to be eternally optimistic. Or at the very least cheerfully pessimistic. I'm also great at naming an actor or movie from really vague descriptions.
The first things people usually notice about me
My green eyes or oddly rigid mannerisms. And that I make too many pop culture references.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm really passionate about a wide variety of movies/books/music so I'll be as concise as possible.

Movies: Notes on a Scandal, Nightmare Before Christmas, Brick, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mean Girls, There Will Be Blood, Cabin in the Woods, Beetlejuice, Lord of the Rings, Jackie Brown, The Prestige, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, 28 Days Later, Hanna, Bridesmaids, Shaun of the Dead, I Heart Huckabees, Coraline, The Faculty, Looper, Sleepy Hollow

Shows: Bob's Burgers, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Weeds, Lost, Veronica Mars, Community, Modern Family, Dexter, Pushing Daisies, Revenge, The Americans, American Horror Story

Music: The Hush Sound, Andrew Bird, The Avett Brothers, The Decemberists, Islands, Cake, Arcade Fire, Blitzen Trapper, Ratatat, Jon Brion, Starfucker, Ben Folds, Beirut, Muse, Metric, Regina Spektor, Flight of the Conchords, The Strokes, Spoon, Maps & Atlases, E.L.O, David Bowie, every Quentin Tarantino soundtrack

Books: The Hunger Games trilogy, Ender's Game, Shade's Children, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, The Shining (or anything by Stephen King), Watchmen, The Lovely Bones, Slaughterhouse-Five, Harry Potter, Haunted (although I've never actually had to physically put a book down until I read it), The Book Thief, The Walking Dead
Six things I could never do without
So, most of these things I've never lived without, so I guess I can't really answer this for certain (although my beard trimmer/shaver did break for a while and it was cool at first, then horrifying later, so I can say that THAT is a necessity).
1. My family/friends
2. Laughter
3. Popcorn/Nerds (not together, that'd be pretty fucking nasty, just those as my sweet fix)
4. Music while I'm driving, walking, or cooking.
5. A beard trimmer
6. Sugar snap peas
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Faster ways to drive home
The order for songs in a playlist
Ways to pass the people walking too slowly in front of me
On a typical Friday night I am
Working late or if I'm lucky out at a movie. I'm also a fan of being a homebody and relaxing at home. Clubs and bars where you spend all your time waiting to get in and/or screaming to have a conversation are kinda lame
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I still play my N64. I'm always down for Smash Brothers or Mario Kart.
You should message me if
You are level-headed, outgoing, willing to laugh at yourself and ideally have at least some of your shit together. I can't stand people that are so serious all the time. I'm also not a big fan of one-night stands. I want someone who can be my boyfriend as much as they are my best friend (I'm really not as sappy as that sounds). I feel like a douche for throwing this out there, but I'm more attracted to slightly more masculine guys. I don't need someone to bro out with, but I do prefer bros over hoes. I put off sending the initial message so feel free to make the first move.
