My self-summary
Life's unpredictability is not something to counter and worry about but something that gives us a sense of adventure and unlimited possibility every day. I try to savor every moment and learn from every decision and person I meet. I think that taking the time to notice the small things in life is just as important as doing the big things: (like being successful in a career, etc).

I'm a really active person and have diagnosed myself with restless leg syndrome. I love running, practicing yoga, snowboarding, playing golf, hiking.
What I’m doing with my life
Moved to MA from PA for a job in marketing research/consulting. I'm looking forward to starting my career, meeting new people and making a new home for myself.
I’m really good at
Listening to people and seeing others perspectives and noticing really random things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My family accent (meet me and you'll understand)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Blink, Tipping Point, Da Vinci Code, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (childhood favorite), 1984---honestly I read WAY more magazines, blogs/articles and newspapers than actual books. Wish I took the time to read more! Magazines-(Time, The Economist, Cosmopolitan (Come on I'm a girl), Women's Fitness, Men's Fitness (may sound weird but men's has better recipes and more challenging exercises), Everyday Rachael Ray, + any other cover that catches my eye) articles/blogs online-(gizmodo,lifehacker, any food/fitness blog, USA Today, NYT, any top stories on google news) and newspapers- (would actually pick up USA Today and NYT out of locked boxes on campus) I'm currently reading Brandwashed by Martin Lindstrom.

Movies: Dumb and Dumber, Silver Linings Playbook, V for Vendetta, Pretty Woman, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Rat Race, Knocked-Up, Se7ven, Shutter Island, She's The Man, Gladiator-- I have watched so many movies and to be honest I'm not a harsh critic (I have a problem where once I start a movie I can't stop watching it until it's over--no matter how terrible it is--I once watched The Decent by myself and it was scary...)

Shows: Revenge, Game of Thrones, New Girl, Nashville, Planet Earth, anything on food network

Music: Mostly listen to country but I love all music. Especially songs I can dance to...; )

Food: Can't actually think of a food I don't like but I'm really into healthy/local eating. I like trying new, crazy things (some of the weirdest things I have tried include: stinky tofu, cow stomach and pig intestine--I know that's really gross but I just want to get the point across that I'm not a finicky or picky girl eater-definitely the opposite.
Six things I could never do without
1) Friends/Family
2) Challenges
3) Delicious Food
4) Burt's Bees Lip Balm
5) Coffee/Tea
6) My mom's cooking
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The small stuff
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends or relaxing at home watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I eat ice cream sandwiches at 3AM
You should message me if
You are a genuinely nice person and not afraid to take a chance and meet up face to face.
