My self-summary
I was born in New York, went to school in Scotland, and I'm planning to die on Mars. I'm passionate about karaoke, bad jokes, good movies, and sweet potato fries.
What I’m doing with my life
Working in tv development, so if you've got an idea for a trashy reality show please send it my way.

In the meantime, I keep myself busy with improv and co-hosting a podcast about "so-bad-it's-good" movies (send me some recommendations!).
I’m really good at
I can put a comforter inside a duvet cover with a minimal amount of hassle.
The first things people usually notice about me
A rigorous survey of friends and co-workers produced the following results:

1. "Lop-sided smile?"
2. "Baby soft hands"
3. "If Conan O'Brien and Thom Yorke like, had a kid"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: I'm a major film buff, so I'm happy with everything from prestige drama's to so-bad-it's-good classics. It's impossible to pick some favorites, but I could probably watch "

Books: This changes all the time, but if I had to pick some off the top of my head I'd say "Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" (really, anything by Murakami), "The Right Stuff", "Supergods", "Cloud Atlas", The Expanse series, "A Confederacy of Dunces", and "The Years of Rice and Salt".

Music: I'm terrible at finding new music (despite a decent chunk of my friend group being musicians), but some perennial favorites are David Bowie (RIP), Wolf Alice, Bruce Springsteen, TV On The Radio, Bob Dylan, and Warren Zevon. I've recently started listening to a lot of jazz, which makes me worry I'm turning into an old man.

TV: I'm not a big TV guy (despite working in the industry), but I try and make time for Game of Thrones, Westworld, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Broad City.

Food: Basically anything and everything. I love to cook, but I'll never say no to pizza or take out Indian.
The six things I could never do without
1. Wallet
2. Phone
3. Keys
4. Metrocard
5. Watch
6. Socks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When regular dogs see Police dogs, do they think "Oh shit, it's the cops!"?
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends; anything from catching an improv show, grabbing dinner and drinks with friends, or staying in to work through my Netflix backlog.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Once I accidentally crashed a funeral. It was about as awkward as it sounds.

I also was involved with one of the biggest box office disasters in Hollywood history.
You should message me if
If you believe in the saying "Any pizza can be a personal pizza, if you try hard and believe in yourself."

Barring that, definitely message me if you want to spend a day getting lost in a museum, or catch a show at UCB, or watch a movie (good or bad) and talk about it over drinks, or if you just want to wander around the Strand.

At the very least, please message me if you've got an amazing Nigerian email scam.
