My self-summary
I was born and raised in San Francisco, but I went to college in Washington, D.C. and couldn't stand it so came back to SF. I used to work in finance, transitioned to tech, and now I'm doing my own startup.
What I’m doing with my life
I am working full time on my startup focusing on data compression and cloud architecture. I spend about 12-15 hours a day writing code, but I'm good at scheduling time outside of my work to have fun and enjoy life.
I’m really good at
- pool/billiards,
- poker,
- writing code,
- predicting election outcomes,
- investing in the stock market,
- weightlifting
- quoting lines from movies I have seen one too many times
The first things people usually notice about me
my height,
my strange mix of esoteric interests,
how I can be what my friends call a "tough read."

An eclectic mix ranging from light rock to the tech programming music I occasionally listen to while working.

Italian, Asian, Indian, and I like the Greek I've had, but ultimately, the healthier the better.
The six things I could never do without
1) my mind
2) my family/friends
3) my ambition
4) modern technology
5) my work ethic
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- How to improve data compression.
- What the stock market is doing and how to rebalance my portfolio.
- Things that can or should be automated.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am most likely either writing code, working out, or checking my stock portfolio. Occasionally, I am at a nice bar, but I am more likely networking than socializing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There are a lot of times I look like I am staring into space when I am really in a deep state of thought. I only drink on social occasions and I am not a big fan of big parties, night clubs, or the bar scene.
You should message me if
If you're a nice, but candid and transparent person.

If you are a nerd, we will probably get along. Also, if you have an interest in technology or finance, that is a big plus.
