I make a lot of jokes, sometimes too often about things other people would not joke about. I just think it would be a sad sad life without jokes. I get carried away sometimes with new interests. And that kind of leaves the old ones to the background.
I am a bit lazy, specially during winter, which is pretty much hibernation period for me. During summer, on the other hand, I try to ride around, look for things I have not seen yet, meet old friends, go fishing etc.
Mostly history based novels and criminal novels, but also sci-fi and things that used to be sci-fi when the book was written ;)
Some examples: "Le Comte de Monte-Cristo", "Les Trois Mousquetaires" (and all following), "Harjunpää ja poliisin poika", "Harjunpää ja rakkauden nälkä", "Winnetou", and sequels. "Animal farm" was pretty interesting, as I have seen the end of Soviet Union. "Гиперболоид инженера Гарина" is one of the best used-to-be-sci-fi books I can recall at the moment.
"Gort Ashryn" and sequels (this still is a sci-fi book... for now) and "Musta pori näkku!" which is about the rising of rock and punk culture in the end of soviet union, through the eyes of a locally famous guitar player. Title is from a line from song/poem, and means something like: "black dirt on to your face"
Just random examples of what I like, no genre sorting or anything.
"Elling", "The butterfly effect", "Mushrooming", "The Matrix" (only the first), "Fight club", "Pahat pojat", "Rare exports", "Sniper" (only the first), "Forrest Gump", "The Boondock saints" (only the first), "Curse of the Golden Flower", "Worlds fastest indian", "No country for old men"
Other than that, I'm not sure which of my privates is more private...
