My self-summary
Hi, I'm Lap. I'm a fluffy leftie progressive type.

I ride a bicycle everywhere, drive a train for work, drink a lot of tea, and watch a lot of films. I love deep long conversations with people that go on for hours.

I'm really polite with new people. Sometimes to the point of awkwardness.

I'm really shit at text based instant communications; I may overthink my replies.
What I’m doing with my life
A quest to learn as much as possible in the comfiest way possible.
I’m really good at
Talking at length about things I am passionate about.
The first things people usually notice about me
Many people, ever since I was younger, have said to me that they're surprised when I use bad language. So I guess they think I'm quite sweet and innocent. I don't know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I watch a lot of films.
I like films staring/written/directed by Woody Allen, Charlie Kaufman, Wong Kar-Wai, Bong Joon-Ho, the Coens, Julie Delpy, Richard Linklater, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Steve Buscemi, Michel Gondry, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Wes Anderson.

Books: Currently reading 23 Things They Don't Tell You About Capitalism.

Fan of Stewart Lee, which I think says a lot in itself.

Recently watched and recommend Fleabag, and Sense8.
Bojack Horseman (seriously, watch Bojack Horseman). Master of None, and Rick and Morty.
I also feel inferior watching University Challenge and shouting the wrong answers to Only Connect.

I couldn't pin down any music that I particularly like, but anything that that sounds good whilst riding a bicycle. Caravan Palace is good for this. And also Guts. And Air.
My musical discoveries mainly come from hearing them on film and TV.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- Being the mayor of my own city.
- How important it is to notice the mundane, the invisible, and what we don't do.
- The entire history and future of the universe.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a kid I wanted to be a spy, like James Bond. So a really bad, misogynistic spy.
You should message me if
You fancy an in-depth chat about something heavy.
Or if you want to know more about the Tube and trains.
