My self-summary
This will sound strange, but people who know me describe me as both relaxed and intense; easy-going and high energy. Yes, those are oxymoronic adjectives, but it works for me.
I am equally at ease screaming on a roller coaster (preferably wooden) or cuddling and quitely watching a sunset.

I'm also terminally curious and unceasingly optimistic. Weekend spontaneity is also a hallmark of my existence. It's extremely enjoyable to hop in a car for the day (or entire weekend) with no plan in mind other than a likely destination.

I laugh easily and frequently and my good mood is usually contagious. I skip daily just because. One of my favorite quotes is from Oscar Wilde "Life is too important to be taken seriously".

That said, I love my profession and believe that our work (and more importantly our attitude towards our work) is crucial to a healthy outlook on life.

I enjoy festivals and events. Now that I have moved to FL, I need to find new places to go. I really enjoyed the Renaissance Festival and leaf-peeping.

My only true addiction is films. My favorite of all time is "Mary Poppins". Kind of like revisiting childhood.

I travel when I can and two photos are from Alaska in September, 2008, and two others are from the Caribbean in 2014. I think that I still look mostly the same, but perhaps I am fooling myself as I get older. Definitely need to get some newer photos.

I neither hunt nor fish, although I have been known to shoot things with a camera. But I enjoy walks on the beach, the woods, the mountains, anywhere there is sky and reduced numbers of people.

Mostly I eat healthy (primarily vegetarian, with a major weak spot for burgers) and am a competent cook with most things, and excellent with a few. There is always pizza when results are inedible. Kitchen chores are a wonderful shared activity.

I firmly believe that attraction lies between the ears and everything else is frosting.

I value differences, and have taken to heart the quote, "If two people agree on everything, one of them isn't necessary".

I am honest, courteous, and intelligent

Many people say that they are good at kissing; and I would like to believe that I have a talent for it. However, my belief is that it takes two people to make a kiss work.

My diastema (only because I smile a lot).

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The bathroom is my library. I keep books and magazines in mine. When I use other peoples' bathrooms, I will read shampoo bottles if there is nothing else (but I don't go through cabinets).
You should message me if
you have an acerbic wit, linguistic acumen, enjoy philosophical conversations, value propriety, enjoy traveling, long walks, wine, care about the planet (but not in a tell everybody else what to do sort of way), have a knowledge of cultural trivia, are spontaneous and don't smoke.
