My self-summary
I can be both extroverted and introverted. I am silly, funny and love to laugh. I love people who don't take themselves too seriously. I love people who are non-judgmental and have lived or visited places outside the U.S. I am not very into politics - but I love hearing about things you're passionate about even if politics is one of them. I can get excited about the silliest things and stumble over getting my words out fast enough to keep up with my thoughts. I do have a habit of being late to things (but I'm working on it...) and I tend to soldier on when working towards things I truly want to accomplish. And at age 28, I finally feel like I am growing into my true self.

I am funny, sincere, and pensive
What I’m doing with my life
I work for an advocacy non-profit in Oakland as an accountant.

My smile and I've also been told that I laugh a lot...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read "Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Shining Suns" early this year and loved them both, if Khaled Hosseini wrote another book I would read that too. I laughed out loud at "Eat, Pray, Love" (I can't think of this book without thinking of "The Geet"). Generally, my favorite book ends up being the last book I read.

My favorite movie of all time is "American President", I've watched it more times than I can count but every few months I sit down and watch it again from beginning to end. I also loved "You've Got Mail". My favorite line from the movie is "If I knew your name and address, I would send you a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils" - I don't know why but I think it's the most romantic line in any movie I've seen.

I can't really pick which genre of music I prefer. I like to put on the latest hip-hop or dance music when I'm cleaning my room or walking through the city with my ipod on. I played classical violin for 15 years growing up, so I still have a soft spot for chamber music. And every now and then I'll hear a song I like, look up the artist and end up buying the entire album on iTunes - right now, Joshua Radin is on the top of my playlist.
