My self-summary
First off, I want to know when I'll be awarded the "Worst Profile Picture of All" award. I love trophies! (The new photos are better but who really likes their own selfie??)

I'm a happy, down-to-earth, low-maintenance woman. I don't have kids but like them. I have many interests including spending time in my pool, playing Wii boxing, reading, walking, cooking, and watching trashy TV. I love music and enjoy concerts and live bands. I can do the dress up thing for a night on the town or I'm just as happy hanging out on the deck (maybe with friends) grilling and having some margaritas. I like to travel, attend festivals and art shows. I'm pretty open to trying new things. I'm scared of heights but rode the sky lift thing in Clarksville and amazingly, I didn't have heart failure. I'm close to my family, I love my doggy and I enjoy a good relationship with many friends. I believe in having fun, laughing many times a day and enjoying whatever life has to offer. I'm seeing the margarita glass as half full. If it becomes half empty, I'll whip on some gloves and milk the nearest agave and make my own tequila.

I'm on another site and I like what I say there too so, being the kind woman I am, I will share it with you here! "I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."
~ Audrey Hepburn

I look for the good in others. I hate to use that tired line about "you complete me" and sound like an idiot but I do believe a good relationship does just that. You find the person who makes you want to be better and you ARE better. You try a little harder. You remember to say please and thank you and are grateful for the little things. Your day is better just because that person knows that a shaving cream heart in the shower will make you giggle.

Who am I? Good question. I'm just a nice girl looking for a nice boy. That's the simple version. I'm a business owner, a daughter, a sister, a dog mom and a friend. I'm the woman who treats others the way I want to be treated. I go the extra mile. I have a good life but I'm yearning for more. I miss being in a relationship and all the crap that goes with it. I like the good times and working together to figure out the bad times.

I have a lot of interests from Cardinals games to watching stupid TV. Good conversation, music, cooking dinner with someone I care about and sharing a great passionate sex life are all things I enjoy. I'm funny. Smart. I give as good as I get. I have a great sense of humor and love to banter and tease.

I'm not Barbie and I'm not looking for Ken. I don't have ex-whatever drama. I'm just fairly normal and sane. Obviously, I can't tell you ALL my secrets at once. Like that time in San Juan when I ...
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an artist of sorts. I just started a new business this winter and am loving it. I have designed jewelry in the past and plan to move in a new direction with it at some point. I'm just living each day fully and being the best person I can be. I treat others as I like to be treated. I'm a big believer in give and take. Did that sound a bit too saccharine? Well, I happen to like artificial sweeteners - so there! Ha! Whatever I do in life, I have to be able to look myself in the eye in the mirror the next day. Of course, were I a vampire, I guess that couldn't happen. And no, I have no big love for the vampire genre that is popular right now. I use too much garlic when I cook and would be thrown out of the vamp school. I flunked out of Dracula U a long time back. I kept the coffin though.

Basically, I am just me. I feel a lot like Amy looking for her Sheldon.
I’m really good at
I'm able to adapt to a variety of situations. There isn't much that throws me for a loop. I started a new business in February of 2014 and am finding I am actually good at it. I love exploring new things!
The first things people usually notice about me
My myriad of invisible friends
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read mostly fiction and have recently developed a serious relationship with free e-books. I'm debating whether or not I'm feeling the love because of the free stuff or because I like reading. You have to admit that FREE is an awesome price. I like comedies and dramas in the way of movies but am open to new genres. As for food, I like most types and don't really have a favorite. I'm a fan of new country music, soft rock, classic rock, heavy metal, 70's stuff, 80's stuff, some pop and almost anything but jazz. I just can't work up a love for Kenny G but I don't care if you think he hung the moon. Heck, maybe he has some redeeming qualities that you can explain to me.

To me, reading, watching TV or seeing a movie is a good escape from real life. So, I lean toward the lighter stuff. I do enjoy some documentaries and give most things a chance. If you never try anything new, you learn nothing. I just discovered the big attraction to the Harry Potter book series. Wow, what talent that author has!
The six things I could never do without
Internet
Cell phone
Chapstick
My pool
Good friends, family - nope, that ship sailed
Satellite TV - rarely watch TV these days
A good sense of self and what I'll accept and what I won't
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Currently, I'm wondering why the heck I don't update this horrible profile. I filled it out so long ago. Things have changed. My answers to the dumb quiz questions are sure different now. Ask me! Don't rely on algorithms that don't seem to really work.

I think about all sorts of things from politics to world peace to whether or not I should highlight my hair...

So exciting...I did highlight. Try to control your jealousy on that one. World peace has been tossed over for whirled peas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends. I like to go to sporting events, movies, dinner or just go out and about. Or, I might be sitting on my deck watching the stars and wishing I had someone to share the evening with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm using an online dating site to meet men - don't tell my dad, okay? Other than that, who knows?? Ask. I just might tell you.
You should message me if
If you're interested in a woman who is bright, funny, mature, interesting, will keep you laughing, will make you think, and who will keep you entertained in many ways, then you should give me a whirl. She isn't perfect and sure doesn't expect you to be. Talking online costs nothing and you just never know what might transpire.
