My self-summary
Some mix of a train wreck and a Hot Mess. The capitalization is intentional.

I've realized recently that from being so cynical at everything I sometimes forget what my opinions/beliefs on a multitude of things are.

I'm not a fan of the death penalty, unless it comes to bike thieves.

I easily get obsessed with things in pop culture, currently it's all things related to El-P, Game of Thrones, the new 52, and always have an addiction to wu-tang.

Everyone should make horrible mistakes as long as it makes for a good story.

I enjoy traveling when I have the funds to, which rarely happens.
What I’m doing with my life
Slowly coming to the realization that I'll probably have to be a real adult for a few years, m-f job schedule with few vacations, real school with real work, nice house, paying bills, brushing my teeth everyday, washing hands after bathroom, and can just live out my dream of being a crusty early-20s-year-old when i'm in my 30s. Maybe that dream can get squeezed into the weekends sometimes.

I'm currently working for people with disabilities of varying degrees, and trying to write/make music/other creative things but I somehow just end up on a bike or watching a movie.....or with a beer....or 30
I’m really good at
having a beard, and Diabetes.

Also great at using spell check.

...and honestly i'm not so good at the diabetes
The first things people usually notice about me
My height and beard. Hands down. Unless they see me while laying down or sitting, then it might just be the beard.

...and my gorgeous farmers tan.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS: Just started reading the Song of Ice and Fire series, which is more addicting than a crack, cocaine, heroin, meth combo. Middlesex, The Great Shark Hunt: Gonzo Papers vol. 1 by Hunter S. Thompson, and pretty much anything that man has touched, The Tin Drum, Howard Zinn, Graham Greene, Cormac McCarthy, Sarah Vowell, Gunter Grass...
Comics/Graphic Novels that you should probably read: The Killing Joke, Preacher, The Walking Dead, Long Halloween, Batman Year One, most anything by Alan Moore or Grant Morrison.
And right now I'm nerding out on the rebooted DC comics.

The Ruling Class
Fanny & Alexander
The Tin Drum
Che Pt. 1 & 2
Terminator 2
O' Brother Where Art Thou
Dark Knight
When Harry Met Sally
The Descent
Funny Games
Carpenters' Halloween
Spirit of the Beehive
and probably a handful of others.
Pavement, El-P, Killer Mike, The Misfits, Del McCoury, Oingo Boingo, The Mekon's, Stacy Epps, Madlib, J Dilla, Kanye West, Dewey Jackson, Hank Williams Sr., and Wu-Tang...always.

I'm too poor to have an opinion on food. But when I do have money...sushi...all the time.
Six things I could never do without
Well literally my insulin pump and insulin, might die without those. But in the way I'm assuming this question bike, awkward social situations I can chuckle about later, a handful of movies...most of which mentioned above, coffee, I know it's cliche, but my friends, and going along with the cliche thing I'll say my music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Rock and Roll and the human condition.... and which Wu-Tang member I most identify with (so far I think it's Ghostface)
On a typical Friday night I am
At a house show, that is generally at my house. Running around, night time moderately intoxicated bike rides, watching a movie with folks i may or may not like. Making terrible choices that will be laughed about a few days later.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I change what I'm writing based on my spelling ability...because I know I'm mildly-illiterate.
I really really like Fountains of an extreme case of guilty pleasure.
I also used to really like Batman & Robin, the really terribly used to, i mean i was around 10.
You should message me if
This sounded remotely interesting, you're very bored, you want to have arguments about pop culture, politics or social issues.
You want a bike riding partner. Know how I can get free insulin, or want to nerd out on pretty much anything that it's possible to nerd out on.

AND if you know who Cory McAbee is...

Also, if you know where a kid can get a sweet hook-up for insulin.
