My self-summary
"Falling in love is disorientating because the boundaries between new lovers are not fixed. In order to fall in love we have to let go of our daily habits. In order to be touched, we have to be willing not to know what the touch is going to feel like."
- Anne Bogart

I have always found this quote to be both insightful and inspiring. Looking for love is an exciting but unknown experience. I am looking for find someone who is willing to take those risks and see what kind of a touch and connection can happen between two people.

I have a very busy but fulfilling lifestyle at the moment. Ideally I would find someone who is also really happy with who they are. I want to share they joys and happiness that I have myself with someone who makes me laugh, is interested in the world around them, and isn't afraid to stand up for what they believe.
What I’m doing with my life
After completing grad school I moved to the DC area to explore the theatre/music/opera scene in that area.
I’m really good at
listening and observing, hopefully one of the reasons I'm a decent director.
The first things people usually notice about me
One of the first things people notice about me is that when something makes me laugh unexpectedly, I have a HUGE and distinctive laugh. I try to laugh everyday, and hopefully will find someone else who is able to find humour in everyday life.

I also have an identical twin brother that is also gay. We have a wonderful bond and are very close, even though we don't see each other that often.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my life is going and how to get the most out of it. As a recent transplant to the DC area, I also still think a lot about my friends and family back all over the country.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not in rehearsal than I'm often hanging out with friends, trying a new place to eat, seeing a show, or watching a movie with a glass of wine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm like a human jutebox, and if you quote a song lyric (or anything remotely close to it) it is likely that I will burst out into song. Sometimes it's weird in a crowded elevator, but I can't help it!
You should message me if
anything in here caught your eye. I find the experience of trying to write about myself and give an "accurate" description in a few words a bit challenging. I love language, but words will only go so far. If something in my profile sparks your interest, send me a message and say hello.
