My self-summary
I'm a lot of things wrapped into one. A beach-bum guy wanting the city life. A gentleman from the country looking to get lost in a city. Hard worker and big on fun. German and American. Hippie at heart and hipster in style. Does that make sense?

More traditionally I'm an army brat who moved out here from the east coast for grad school. I work in theatre/arts admin and as a producer. I like to stay busy and love hanging out versus big gestures from friends, etc. I'm pretty nostalgic but love big boy toys, and little kid cartoons. But not in like a creepy way.

Sometimes I speak in English with a foreigners syntax, and as I proofread this I see I write that way too. Can you?

All in all, I'm a pretty chill guy. I'm goofy. Nothing is too serious and it'll all work out it in the end.

Please don't make me get dressed up.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an arts administrator. One of the top exec staff members for a regional theatre. Producer for smaller organizations. I look forward to figuring out the "Next step" in my life and like thinking about who it could be.
I’m really good at
Getting tongue-tied. Contemplating too much. Making a quick and strong martini.
The first things people usually notice about me
My big smile and the big cheeks that go with it. Then how it hides my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Yikes.... I like lots of things so much.

Who's watching Bob's Burgers, Happy Endings (RIP)?? That with marathons of 30 Rock and Arrested Development, with sides of SVU?

I listen to a wide range of music. I prefer the chill sounds, versus the heavy/scream sound. Pop music in the morning to really get the blood pumping. Things like that.

I dig dramatic movies where people are horrible, comedies where people are horrible and those sweet indie movies. But not like the Hangover! Never would I "like" the Hangover. I dig Little Shop of Horrors, Scott Pilgrim, Seven Pounds, Revolutionary Road, Howl.

As far as the reading goes, I like lots contemporary set fiction. One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest is always a fun read. Rules of Attraction is an odd read that I enjoy lots. I do need to read more books.
The six things I could never do without
Some Friends
Some Music
Some TV
The good pillow
Iced Coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What are my next step in life to achieving the goals of world domination.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home. Out. Somewhere in between. Work causes me to do nights and weekends and it's always shifting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a total sucker for crap reality TV, but like odd stuff not the normal crap reality stuff like The Bachelor or Real World. HIt me up and I'll tell you more.
You should message me if
you think you're pretty cool. Or at least pretty fun.
