My self-summary
I'm a professional in private practice in Central Vermont who has good friends, is a member of a strong community and is very involved in my lifelong avocations (e.g., music). What is missing is someone with whom to share my life.
What I’m doing with my life
I worked hard to develop my practice in my forties, and now, I'm much more oriented to developing my artistic side (I'm a musician), and achieving more of a balance between relationship, work and self expression.
I’m really good at
being honest, being intuitive, ionsightul, having fun, being thoghtful and other directed.
The first things people usually notice about me
my intelligence and how I am articulate.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love independent films of all sorts.....also love filmmakers from thes sixties....Fellini, John Schlesinger,
Six things I could never do without
1. love
2. music
3. meaningful work
4. community
5. my incredible labrador
6. friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I care a great deal about those closest to me, my friends and my family, and I think about a great many things. I try to view myself not only in terms of whether I am being true to myself, but to also attune myself to whether I am communicating with others in the way that I want to communicate. This sounds heavier than it is really. I tend to be self reflective, and my relationships are important to me.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either home watching an old film, at my synagogue, or with friends, or I'm playing a musical gig as a folksinger.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If something is private, I'd rather it was revealed in an intimate setting. It doesn't feel so special to reveal it in this space.
You should message me if
you are interested in a serious relationship.....with the understanding that involves pacing and the time to get to know one another.
