My self-summary
A Miami girl of Cuban descent who moved to D.C. area a few years back. Just your typical city/suburban girl who enjoys sports, sing and dancing, retro video games, and all things geeky.

Things to know:
- I'm incredibly extroverted and like to run amok in large parties and crowded bars.

- I like watching sports cuz I can't contain my excitement over a beautiful alley-oop or crazy kick-off return.

- I wear colorful, frilly dresses, smile a lot, and am very friendly. People can tell I'm kind and sweet but if they try to take advantage of that, the Miami attitude comes out to remind them I'm no push-over. *Wags finger like Dikembe Mutombo*

- I love marathoning T.V. shows b/c I really enjoy getting to know characters and watching them develop. I'm slightly perturbed that we live in a world where crappy reality T.V. shows like are so popular. ;-)
What I’m doing with my life
Just trying to make memories and live life enough so I have good stories to tell when I'm an old and decrepit.
I’m really good at
Straddling the line between cool and goofy.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh or smile. Either that or I'm usually doing something random - singing, dancing or making faces.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
T.V. - Scrubs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Community, Doctor Who, Veronica Mars, How I Met Your Mother, The West Wing, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Battlestar Galactica, and Game of Thrones.

Favorite movies are Serenity, Moulin Rouge, Garden State, The Breakfast Club, Grandma's Boy, and (almost) all Kevin Smith movies.

My favorite food is Cuban and Italian since they love to pile on the food!

Music? I'm kind of all over the place. I listen to the typical top 40 stuff that you'll hear on the radio. Lots of rock music (alternative/emo/indie/electronic/classic rock and some latin rock, too), hip hop (Kid Cudi, Common, etc.), show tunes, salsa, merengue, reggae, reggaeton, and whatever else I happen to hear that catches my fancy...

For books I tend to gravitate toward Latino authors like Isabel Allende. Something about the way they write and the emotional intensity of their charactres speaks to me. In the case of Paulo Coehlo, I also just love his philosophy and outlook on life.
The six things I could never do without
My peeps, personal philosophical/emotional conversations, team sports, Joss Whedon, singing, and dancing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my next challenge will be. As Jed Bartlet always says "What's next?"

The different factors that shape one's identity and psychology. Growing up a bi-cultural woman with two brothers gives me a vastly different outlook on life than most people and I love to use that to educate and be educated.

Which superhero is better. Batman or Superman? Rogue or Wonder Woman? Iron Man or Captain America?
On a typical Friday night I am
Duh, it's D.C. - happy hour!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spend a lot of time/energy singing and dancing in my head. It's kind of the only reason I get through my workouts.
You should message me if
You're funny, fun, and secure. :-)
