What I’m doing with my life
I live and work in downtown Seattle, as a software developer. I love my job! I solve puzzles and build things all day, and in going on ten years I haven't tired of it yet.

<3 I am now married to the marvelous miss Bydlo85! <3 She is my partner, and my identical puzzle piece. Fun fact: we met on OKCupid originally, which implies to me that it IS possible to find a magical rainbow of awesome & successful relationships on here.

We are polyamorous / in an open relationship, which is now an open marriage, I guess? :) Interestingly, we have been open since we started dating, so 2+ years now. I feel like we're definitely getting the hang of this.

I have been feeling strongly that the most important thing I am working on recently is self expression. I tend to be easygoing and agreeable, and so my challenge is prioritizing the ways to spend my time that really express what I want, instead of just going with the flow, schedule-wise.

That means that I have maybe a little less room in my life for Big Important Relationships (I feel darn good about the ones I have), and that I'm really looking for satisfying connections in some of life's many subdomains.

(Note however that those more 'limited' connections are, however, perfect places for a Big Important Relationship to develop, and if that happens, great!)

So! That having been said, I am super excited to make new friends in these areas and more:

* Music Friends
* Running Friends
* Rock Climbing Friends
* Bike Riding Friends
* Movie watching Friends
* Sexy Friends ^_^
I’m really good at
* Playing along to music by ear - I have an excellent ear for relative pitch.

* Bullet points, lists; semicolons

* The B. Joel - E. John section of the karaoke book.

* Cooking unfancy but delicious, partially improvised but efficient, and healthy but sometimes funny looking dinners

In related news, I am really bad at these things: baking, dancing, poetry, visual art, and racquet sports.
