Im a work-a-holic, HELP!!! Im fighting it, but I really enjoy my job and that makes it hard. When we are short handed I can't just walk away. I give them too much I know, but we are a team and are there to help each other.
In other news, my focus is on being healthy again. Long story short; my curves have curves and thats just not right! Im focusing on eating properly and not "on the run" I had today off work so cooked a few meals for the freezer to make things eaiser on crazy days. Now to get to the gym. Actually, I cant wait for a good hike, wanna come?
I feel the need to mention, this being a dating/networking site and all, that I am hear to find guys to hang out with and see what happens. Shall it be friends, or a romantic partnership. I know what I want in a partner, and wont settle for less. Its not much I promise, atleast I dont think it is. Is being stable in your life, somewhat healthy (or on your way to being) and having all your teeth really too much to ask for? Well, is it?
My work life went thru a decent sized make over in Oct 2011. I left my management job of 14 years that I really enjoyed to start as a receptionist in the field I was born to be in, Veterinary Medicine. I am chasing a dream and loving it!
I love movies, but my mood will define what kind of movie. I love movies with talking animals, cracks me up all the time. I just bought the movie IT. I first saw it when I was 10 and still love clowns, but have an unusual hatred for Tim Curry.
TV favs are Criminal Minds, HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, Big Brother, The Amazing Race (which I will be on one day!)
I LOVE Pandora!! Fav Channels so far are Country, top 40 ( 80s to present ) Jack Johnson and "friends" and a current dance and booty shaking hits.
I love food! And I love trying new foods atleast once, I am not really picky at all. I find cooking pretty enjoyable. When dining out I like to go to places I have never been or order things I have never tried. Its fun to have a friend order for me and not tell me what they got me. Element of surpise is good...most of time.
Something to read
Toothbrush (you HAVE to take good care of your teeth! Espically if you want to date me!!)
Pandora or a mp3 player
When I was 4 I stuck a green bead so far up my nose I had to go to the ER to get it out. About a month later I did it again, but with a purple bead. My Mom said the Dr asked me why I did it again and responded with "I wanted to know if the purple bead would feel the same as the green bead." From what I remember, it did.
