My self-summary
Let me start by saying that if you're looking for a date, you should look elsewhere; I'm in a great relationship.
I am congenial, pensive, and fun-loving. I love literature, rock and (some) metal music, video games, and anime. I am pansexual, but OKC doesn't have that option, so I had to pick the closest one. Some things that my friends say they like about me are my sense of humor and capacity for empathy. My bestest friends in the world are ByteFoolish and timelessness.
I'm also a vegetarian, but not the preachy self-righteous kind.

I'm one giant contradiction. One minute I'm being nice and buying my friend a meal and the next I'm cynically ranting about how insipid commercials are trying to shamelessly manipulate us. A lot of the things I enjoy seem hilariously incongruent when mentioned in the same breath.
I love my cats and frequently speak to them in embarrassing baby-talk. I know this is ridiculous, but I do it anyway because I love animals.
I'm pretty outgoing...a little too outgoing, in the sense that I often don't think about the shit I say before it erupts from my mouth (for example, I curse a lot and I have a semi-offensive take on jokes, which others don't always care for). I'm also known to be overly forward and share personal information way too freely with people; it's occasionally off-putting, but I'm pretty good at recognizing when I've made someone uncomfortable, so I usually apologize right away and then try to take better care with my words from that point.
For the most part, I'm just someone who likes to discuss the absurdities of modern life, drink a beer, and laugh at horribly stupid-ass puns.
What I’m doing with my life
I live in South Carolina, and I work in a call center (i.e. boring corporate job). I have a BA in English and intend to go to grad school at some point to study creative writing.
I’m really good at
Grammar and composition, poetry, video games, cooking, and reading people.
The first things people usually notice about me
If my hair isn't some weird color (most recently pink), they probably notice my glasses or my nose ring.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some examples include:
a)books: Tell Me by Kim Addonizio, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
b)music: Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Tori Amos, Radiohead, The Black Dahlia Murder
c)food: tomatoes(yes, I know it's weird), ice cream, cheese
d) shows: House M.D., Arrested Development, Futurama, MST3K, Archer, Community
e) I'm bored with this list
Six things I could never do without
You don't really know what you can do without until you've hit your most desperate.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Memories, human relationships, the meaning of existence, poetry, video games (honestly, that one's pretty high up on the list)
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually I'm calling a friend to come over and play Wii or go out to eat or something. I don't know. Sometimes I just watch reruns of Supernatural and play Skyrim.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a piercing that can be covered by a bathing suit. >_>
You should message me if
IM me if you just want to BS or make a new friend. Be forewarned that I come with lots of emotional problems and issues (that you'll probably never even see, but still), so if you can't handle a friend or whatever like that, then please note the exits. I don't mean to say I'm a drama queen, because I'm not; I'm just not whole. If you're looking for a "normal" girl, I'm not her.
