My self-summary
I'm originally from Germany and transplanted to the US back in high school. I've been fortunate to have a great family and group of friends that are generally willing to indulge in my impulsivity. I try to be open-minded to new things. The thought of missing out on something interesting due to fear of breaking out of the routine or fear of the unknown is not something I live by. I travel frequently even if it's packing up for the weekend and just going.
I studied Clinical Psychology and have a Master's degree. If anyone has any horror thesis stories, I can probably top it! I can be a big nerd especially about correlations and diagnoses. My current job has some very interesting aspects that keep me surprised.
Overall, I like keeping busy but I definitely enjoy relaxing and slowing down a moment to take everything in.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm living the dream. I go to a job I love, hang out with an awesome family, and engage in wild & wondrous adventures with friends.
I’m really good at
being sarcastic, getting overly excited about things people don't care about, being random and spontaneous, avoiding stagnation, and finding the good in every situation.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love love music! There are not a lot of genres of music that I can't get enjoy especially given the right environment. Whereas I like all kinds of music, if I had to classify myself it would be an old school punker with an eclectic feel.
In terms of movies, I prefer thrillers, comedy, and horror (I like the cheap scare!).
I prefer classic literature though I won't turn down a recommendation.
I like all kinds of food. I love sushi and Indian. But nothing beats a home cooked meal by mama! The more I watch the Food Network, the more inspired I am!
Life is too short to be narrow-minded!

Nonsensical hypotheses
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends catching a new flick. Possibly tearing up some karaoke. Enjoying the comfort of my casita. Throwing out random fun ideas to see who's down.
