I've been down in Virginia for almost five years now, and I'm really looking to meet some new people. I'm just as happy staying in as I am going out, and I like to think I have a pretty wide range of interests that I'm always looking to expand.
I grew up in Connecticut and I'm a New England girl through and through. My long-term goal is to move back up north, though I'm in no hurry to get there. I'm having a good time where I am for now.
I love movies, either going out to the theaters or watching something at home. I'm hoping to find someone who will enjoy watching them with me. I'm also a huge music fan and spend a lot of my time (and money, honestly) at Jammin' Java in Vienna. As far as sports go, I'm a college basketball junkie and lifelong UConn Huskies fan, so don't be surprised if I disappear during March Madness. Or feel free to join me, that's okay too. I'm also a big Red Sox fan.
As far as activities go, I volunteer as an usher at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in downtown DC, and when I'm not doing that I'm usually looking for new local vineyards to check out (I'll take any suggestions you have), finding cooking classes in the area, or going to the movies. I'm not big on shopping, unless there's something specific that I need.
I don't take things like religion too seriously. All I ask is that you respect my beliefs if they differ from yours, and I promise to do the same.
All in all, I don't take myself too seriously and I'm looking for someone to laugh with me, someone who wants to have a good time. If that sounds good to you, let's get in touch!

On a less introspective note, the movies I've seen, what's been good & what sucks. I did mention I loved movies, right?
And since I'm a nanny, a lot of time is devoted to arts & crafts. Comes with the territory.
