My self-summary
I'm an outgoing smarty-pants who's equally comfortable at a quaint winery as I am abseiling into a 100 meter gorge. I make an effort to be both interested and interesting, and I'm frequently told that I'm awesome (and not just by my mother). I'm quietly smart, funny, dynamic, and driven - I'm a keener for sure. I love learning new things, and I'm highly goal-oriented. Give me a checklist and I can change the world :)

While I'm definitely independent, I'm very family-oriented and I like to spend a lot of time with my loved ones. Hopefully that includes you!

TL;DR Smart, funny, sweet, and motivated. Extroverted introvert looking for love.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying new things! I'm always up for a new experience. So far I've been diving with sharks in Singapore, white water rafting in Japan, tree-top trekking in Malaysia, python wrangling in Thailand, and arrow shooting in Toronto.

Career-wise, I have a good job with lots of growth potential, and I'm studying part time to earn my CPA designation. I'm ambitious, but I'm not trying to rule the world. I work hard while I'm in the office, but I truly value my work-life balance.
I’m really good at
- Trivial Pursuit - except the dreaded sports questions. I could use a partner for those - maybe that's where you come in?

- Cooking - I've had marriage proposals based on my shakshuka. Which was weird because I made it for my sister.

- Story telling - I am a magnet for strange situations, so I have some pretty good ones

- Life - I have my ish together

- Charming your parents - Moms love me!

- Crosswords - I'm still working up to the Sunday NYT, but I'll get there one day
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically they tend to notice my eyes or my smile. My hair gets a lot of comments too.

I'm animated when I talk. There are a lot of hand gestures and facial expressions, regardless of whether the conversation is going on in real-life or just in my head.

I have a wide range of interests and I'm knowledgeable about a lot of different topics, so after one of those real-life conversations people often remark about that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have a deep appreciation for dystopian literature and films. I have a sunny disposition, but a love for all things morbid and disgusting (I'm probably the least squeamish person you know).

I have horrible/amazing taste in music, so if it's catchy, country, or classic, it's probably on my playlist.

We might fight over Breaking Bad since I think it's overrated.

I love my Netflix subscription, although their most recent suggestion for me was "My Cat From Hell" so I might be cancelling in indignation. (Who am I kidding, they're totally right)

No fish/seafood or specialty or organ meats. Sorry, I'm just not into kangaroo and giraffe sausages, although I'm sure they're delicious. Otherwise I'm pretty much up for anything! I love the variety that a city like Toronto offers.
The six things I could never do without
Excluding the basics like family and friends:

- A pet. Currently a Japanese street cat named Tora. She's legit.
- My iPhone #Sorrynotsorry
- GIF keyboard. I feel like I express myself best in GIF form
- reddit
- All four seasons (although March can take a hike)
- Flats after a long day/night in heels
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why women quote Marilyn Monroe like she's some kind of role model.

Pop culture, my love for it, and what that says about me.

Whatever's up next on my self-improvement checklist.
On a typical Friday night I am
When I'm feeling extroverted, I like pub nights or games nights with friends. Patios and campfires are particular favourites in the summer.

When I'm feeling introverted, I like to stay in and cuddle up with a movie or a book, some wine, and something delicious I've just cooked up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I should be a spy. My superpower is my excellent memory for faces, and yet no one ever seems to remember mine. I have actually had people tell me about myself because they remember me, but not what I look like. I'm a ghost.

Also, I finally succumbed to peer pressure and read the Twilight series over the summer... but I'm proud to say I didn't inhale.
You should message me if
I don't have a list of specific traits I'm looking for, but I do tend to connect the best with guys who are good conversationalists, kind, funny, and driven. Ultimately I'm looking for my best friend, and someone that I get excited to see and spend time with
