Here we go. I'm funny, intelligent and well-read. I love movies, music and books, and add to my respective libraries regularly. I love to go out to karaoke, not only to sing, but to witness the tragic/splendid/surprising show that it can be--and yes, I'm a good singer.
I write. I write stories, plays, skits and poems. I went to school for writing, and I ended up submitting a poetry thesis I was quite proud of. I asked my creative writing students to answer why they wanted to learn about creative writing, and one student replied (in a paper) that he wanted to know "how to make good poetry for the ladies." That kid was awesome, and I'm with him.
I love to travel. I've been to all 50 states, though only to a few other countries (Canada, England, Scotland, Whales), which is something I want to change eventually.
Other things... um, I work on a comedy website, I'm one of the more honest people you are likely to meet, and once, while bored at a school play, I discovered how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop.
