What I’m doing with my life
If you love puppies, kittens and think The Giving Tree is both the saddest and most accurate fictional portrayal of humanity ever written, then you are in luck, we are a 100% guaranteed match!

Here we go. I'm funny, intelligent and well-read. I love movies, music and books, and add to my respective libraries regularly. I love to go out to karaoke, not only to sing, but to witness the tragic/splendid/surprising show that it can be--and yes, I'm a good singer.

I write. I write stories, plays, skits and poems. I went to school for writing, and I ended up submitting a poetry thesis I was quite proud of. I asked my creative writing students to answer why they wanted to learn about creative writing, and one student replied (in a paper) that he wanted to know "how to make good poetry for the ladies." That kid was awesome, and I'm with him.

I love to travel. I've been to all 50 states, though only to a few other countries (Canada, England, Scotland, Whales), which is something I want to change eventually.

Other things... um, I work on a comedy website, I'm one of the more honest people you are likely to meet, and once, while bored at a school play, I discovered how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop. For answers to this and many other questions, contact me posthaste!

So that's me, who are you Mystery Lady?

The first things people usually notice about me
Depends on the night. It could be a joke, or some tangent of conversation I've sent a group on, or my eyes. They're not bad.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
History, oddities, storytelling, art, language, friendships, romance, wordplay, humor.
On a typical Friday night I am
either holed up at home with a good book or film, or out with friends having beer or preferably wine, or at yoga.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know the lyrics to a lot of Disney songs.
You should message me if
you are passionate, have something to say and think a night out has things to offer beyond just beers at the bar.

Oh, and if for the question, "Which is bigger: the Earth or the sun?" you did not choose "the Earth."
