My self-summary
According to my friends, I'm easy going, goodhearted, trustworthy, intelligent, funny, caring, sexy and unique (and did I say humble). I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor (I'm from NY it comes with the territory). My curiosity is piquable and I am willing to try new things to broaden my horizons. I'm the oldest of 5 and learned early how to give and take to make things work. Not afraid of rolling up my sleeves and getting dirty or breaking a nail, I can easily shift from jeans to gowns. I love to sing in the car, contemplate life in the shower and dance whenever I can. I used to wake my children gently in the morning and give and get many hugs and kisses throughout my day and night (this is a big accomplishment with teenagers!). My youngest finished college in 2013 so I'm joining the ranks of the empty-nesters whose nest is sometimes filled. I guess it all keeps me young. While I enjoy reading fiction from time to time, I don't expect to read any on this site...and, yes, my photo is current.

I am smart, funny, and loving.
I’m really good at
finding a parking space - I call it my parking Karma.
The first things people usually notice about me
are my smile and then my intelligence...go figure!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to explore all types food and revel in the nuances of the flavors and smells.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
why I am always thinking!!!
You should message me if
IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wisely:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man (who should message me!) my son!
