My self-summary
Hi! I'm an engineer and Bay Area native who moved back to the Bay after five years in Georgia for college. Being in the South was great; I developed an appreciation for sweet tea, coconut pie, and a slower pace of life. But work drew me back to the Bay Area and I've enjoyed finding a great church, getting outdoors, and having adventures.

I'm a bit unusual and a contradiction in terms. A female engineer. A conservative Christian in California. An old fashioned girl in modern times (seriously, I grew up with a rotary dial phone and without a microwave and still am holding out against a smart phone).

I love to cook, and whenever I have a free evening I find myself musing "Hm, what can I bake tonight?" I also love long walks, hikes, dancing overly enthusiastically, rock climbing, and fixing stuff (I'm an engineer, so "fixing stuff" means "let's poke it until it's either broken or working again").
I’m really good at
Pan seared chicken breasts with mushroom cream sauce
Pasta primavera
Green beans in a thyme and shallot reduction
Strawberry pavlova
Hot fudge
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, fiction and non-fiction randomly selected from the library.

Fifth Element, She's the Man, While You Were Sleeping.

Big Bang Theory, Chopped, Downton Abbey.

Imagine Dragons, Phil Wickham, Rasmus, Brandon Heath.

Pasta, ice cream.
The six things I could never do without
1. God and his Word
2. Family
3. Friends
4. Books (I love to read)
5. Ear plugs (I live near the airport)
6. Nail clippers (a multi-use tool that's allowed on airplanes)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
efficiency. I'm an engineer and this happens a lot.
You should message me if
you're a Christian man who appreciates good conversation and random adventures.
