My self-summary
I'm a happy guy with an active social life. I've heard that I'm really easy to get along with, and that I'm good at maintaining a positive attitude and an open mind. I make the best of any situation, and I've been told that I could have a fun chat with anyone for at least a couple of hours.

I enjoy going out to new restaurants, bars, and happy hours, but also love cozy nights in. I'm a firm believer in being proactive about experiencing as much as possible during the short time we have, so I have a big predisposition to "say yes to life". I'm always open to new experiences and trying new, crazy things, so my life tends to stay quite fun and packed full of all sorts of events, parties, amazing people/friends, etc.

I love meeting new people who are smart, positive, and fun. For the Myers-Briggs fans out there, I'm an INTJ although the 'I' is closest to the middle and one time was reported as an 'E'.

I have some experience with open/poly relationships. Fully poly relationships (with multiple, simultaneous deep/intimate emotional connections) I haven't found to be particularly satisfying for me (but we can still totally hang out!). So, I am looking for a (1:1) relationship, but I'd be open to some physical openness once we're a ways down the road with comfort, trust, communication, etc :)

Lastly, I enjoy quick wit, puns, and sarcasm!
What I’m doing with my life
I spent my first decade after college chasing money, promotions, and an ever fancier title. Guess what -- it doesn't make you happy! My last couple years have been an awesome journey of self discovery. I attended Burning Man, traveled the world (mostly) solo for two months, and took some time without a job to see what it was like to spend instead of save and enjoy instead of earn.

I was a video game producer for the last few companies I worked for, and recently started my own game company with a friend. Creating good games is a really interesting puzzle because it combines technology, psychology, economics, and fun -- all things I like!

I also really enjoy making music so I'm working on becoming a better pianist, and also play the drums, guitar, and sing. I enjoy karaoke.

A few other hobbies of mine are snowboarding, poker, optimizing/organizing things, puzzles, movies, meeting new people, travel, and practicing/learning/trying new things (seriously, pretty much anything... try me!).
I’m really good at
Organizing, optimizing, solving, communicating directly, and quickly picking up new skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've heard "eyes".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Groundhog Day, Good Will Hunting, Shawshank Redemption, Avatar, Fight Club, Usual Suspects, Office Space, The Hangover, Spy Game, Moulin Rouge, Sneakers, The Game, Ghost... and many, many more.

It's very mood-dependent! Some genres are better to dance to, others are good for playing along with, some are good for singing or karaoke...

The 4-Hour Workweek, How to Win Friends and Influence People, Delivering Happiness, Never Eat Alone, Blink

I'm really flexible but some favorites are sushi, pizza, steak, pasta, Indian... anything with big flavors!
Six things I could never do without
1) Friends and family
2) Health

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Big picture stuff. The things that *really* matter, and that I'll be happy I focused on when I look back on my life a long time from now.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Someone says I look like Ben Stiller every week or two.
You should message me if
You live nearby and are interested in meeting the guy who wrote all that stuff you just read. :)
