My self-summary
I'm an ambitious, free spirited, people lovin' kinda guy who can sometimes be sweet and sensitive and other times be playful and spontaneous. I tend to get a lot of laughs.... and am always there to lift a friend up when needed. I'm a realist who secretly wishes to be an optimist. I've been pretty unsocial for the last year as I was caring for my mother while she was ill and opening a business. I followed my dreams and truly love what I get to do. The business keeps me pretty busy as I'm open 7 days a week. I'm just getting to the point where I can take a day off here and there and let my employees handle things. So put a check next to hardworking.
I prefer a live band over a d.j.
a hike over a run
a hug over a handshake
rock over rap
playing sports over watching sports
flea markets over malls
swimming over tanning
CNN over FOX
forgiving over fighting

MY MATCH: I tend to be attracted to girls that are creative and a bit funky. Be sweet, honest, and understanding. Self-esteem is important.... You can't love someone if you don't love yourself. Take pride in your flaws and quirks. Be adventuress, unassuming, and adorable ;) I'm also a sucker for girl in a sun dress. If you are not an animal lover this won't go anywhere. I'm fine dating someone with kids. I love kids. I taught Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade. As long as you treat them well and are able get away a bit so we can get to know each other.
What I’m doing with my life
I own and operate a pet store.... so you better love animals.
I'm a former elementary school teacher.
I’m really good at
Making people smile!
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea. Probably my smile and laughter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Live music always! Phish, Beatles, Cat Stevens, James Taylor.... Funk! I love funk! Everything is better with horns!

Favorite Movies include : Across the Universe, Harold & Maude, August Rush, Shawshank Redemption, Indian Summer, Primal Fear, Idiocracy (see quote below)

"The years passed, mankind became stupider at a frightening rate. Some had high hopes the genetic engineering would correct this trend in evolution, but sadly the greatest minds and resources were focused on conquering hair loss and prolonging erections."
The six things I could never do without
Music, nature, pets, family, memories and friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Unicorns. I'm trying to start a breeding program. Unfortunately, a mating pair has been really hard to find. I'll never give up on my dreams though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at a concert. Otherwise snuggling up with you and watching a movie sounds pretty good.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The last year and half have been pretty lonely. All work and no play makes me a dull boy. Just now trying to get my social life back after giving everything I had to my new business.
You should message me if
you're a bit funky, like live music and love to laugh.
