My self-summary
I acted in a webisode where I clucked like a chicken and argued about the Bible. Ask me about it.
What I’m doing with my life
Being original.

These days I'm working with an IT to pay the bills, but I'm a journalist by trade and I'd love to get back into newspapers.

I'm looking for fun and adventure. I've gone skydiving, won a trophy for not being the worst kickball team in the league, hiking, camping, whitewater rafting and even snowshoeing in Alaska. I've been bitten by the travel bug and enjoy volunteering too. Not sure what's on the horizon.
I’m really good at
I'm mildly awesome at being sarcastic, writing, brewing beer, photography and playing poker.
The first things people usually notice about me
My long hair (it's been donated a few times)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read, a love affair that began at a young age. I'm through just about all of Michael Crichton and most of Stephen King. Dracula was pretty amazing.

The Godfather may be my favorite movie, although Blazing Saddles, Full Metal Jacket and Deadpool are also high on the list. I love South Park and I'm catching up on Sons of Anarchy (yes, I know I look like Jax).

With 1,400 songs in my library, I listen to a variety of music, although it does tend to be metal-heavy. Rush and Iron Maiden are my favorite bands, but I've taken a shining to Daft Punk's Random Access Memories album.

Seafood, Thai, Indian, Cajun, Mexican, Italian, American are all good with me. There's a few local gems I may be willing to share with you...
The six things I could never do without
1. Love
2. A smile (life is too short to not embrace happiness)
3. Friends and family
4. Music (it makes the bad times less awful and the good times even better)
5. Curiosity
6. Faith (in yourself, others and life)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and everything, just like everyone else.

Seriously, it's astounding how everyone thinks they're unique in how they actually ponder mysteries about life and the universe, or at least what's going on with them... But yeah, I do a lot of thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes the answer is working. If not, then I'm enjoying a craft beer at Croxley's, grabbing a bite with friends, going for a night walk at Jones Beach, seeing a movie or doing something else fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm in better shape now than when my profile pictures were taken.
You should message me if
Sometimes you feel like a nut... and sometimes you don't.
