My self-summary
03/01/13 - I got married in January but we have an open relationship. Right now I am looking for a FWB. Emphasis on the friends first and the benefits later. I'm a lady, not a whore. I'm not just looking for someone to fuck, I can find that one my own, thanks. I am looking for an emotional connection, some kind of common ground that will spur conversations. It would also help if you smoke pot ;)

There are three things you need to know about me:
1. I am a big girl
2. I am looking for someone in the Pittsburgh area
3. I am NOT looking for a random hook-up

That being said, here are some random things about me:

I am originally from the NYC area, grew up in NJ.
My favorite color is red.
Sometimes, I like to spell it colour b/c it makes me feel European.
I also cross my 7's.
I love all kinds of music, including Broadway/show tunes and classical.
My favorite band is the Dead.
I have 2 cats.
I am a Naturalistic Pantheist - go look it up.
I've been a hippie, a biker, the out-of-control party girl, the straight “A” student. These days, I'm just me.
I didn't go to college until I was 30.
I have two degrees - AAS in Veterinary Technology, BA in Anthropology.
I am not currently using either one as my profession.
I've done every drug under the sun, but am down to pot, alcohol, and acid when I can.
I LOVE taking acid, when I can.
I am fanatical about grammar.
I will always choose chocolate over vanilla.
I like to count things, especially stairs.
I consider myself smarter than most of the people I meet.
I sing and play bass and still want to be a rock star when I grow up.
I love live music but haven't seen any concerts in a long time.
I saw the Dead 27 times between '87 and '95.
I think global warming is inevitable from an evolutionary aspect.
I can still roller skate pretty damned well.
I watch the Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park like its religion.
I enjoy reading forensic thrillers.
I never cared about football until I moved to Pittsburgh, now I love it.
I like to tie-dye.
I grew up riding horses and caring for ALL kinds of animals.
My Mom is dead, my Dad still alive.
I have no brothers or sisters.
I was raised by my grandparents; any good in me comes from them.
I won't write with a blue pen and don't let anyone else use mine.
I spent 4 years in marching band - color guard with a flag :)
I drink rum, sprite and orange juice/cranberry juice/random kool-aid from my fridge.
I smoke cigarettes, mostly in the car or at work. When I'm home, I'm smoking pot.
I'm smoking pot right now.
I have 11 tattoos.
I think I look pretty fucking good for my age, which is 42.
I am the answer to life, the universe and everything...

I am an eclectic mix of cultures and religions. I have never felt like I belong in the time or place I am living, but am making the best of it ;) I'm a dreamer with big ambitions and ideas.

At my core is music, my oldest friend and fiercest foe. I sing and play some bass - can often be found jamming out in a local park when the weather is nice. I am a classically trained vocalist and experience an out-of-body experience when I sing.

I have 11 tattoos and consider myself an art collector. It's really the only thing that you can spend money on that you will take to your grave.

I am Intelligent, Witty, and Cynical
What I’m doing with my life
Breathing in and breathing out, converting O2 into CO2, absorbing nutrients from organic matter to power a carbon-based, sentient being.

Planning for the 2012 Apocolypse! If something doesn't happen, I'm gonna be SO pissed! I really relish the idea of the demise of civilization - I have been reading the Anarchist's Cookbook since high school ;) Now that I live in Pittsburgh, I am expecting zombies as well.
I’m really good at
I'm an excellent cook and consider myself a witty conversationalist. I love to debate a worthy topic and am free with my religous, political, and philisophical opinions. I find it seperates the men from the boys. I can be "one of the guys" and bust balls with the best of them!

When I sing, people stop what they are doing and pay attention. It's true. Come meet me out for open mic or karaoke some night ;)

I have a way of putting people at ease, friends and strangers alike. Having a background in Anthropology has only enhanced this ability.
I am also the Cat Whisperer.
The first things people usually notice about me
Whatever random/intelligent/crazy/provocative/inappropriate words are coming out of my mouth. I like to tell it like it is ;)

If people didn't run away, they would probably notice one of two things first - my eyes and/or my tits, both are big and beautiful. It really depends on who you ask...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are so many. Anthropology text books, Vonnegut, Orwell, Van Daniken, Robin Cook, Patricia Cornwell, Casteneda to name a few. So many books were very influential in my life:

Why We Get Sick: The New Sience of Darwinian Medicine

Movies are many as well:

Six things I could never do without
Earth, Air, Fire, Water, cats and my own towel

If you don't get the reference there, maybe you should stop reading ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
EVERYTHING! Sometimes, I wish my brain had an off switch, it would make sleeping so much easier. And even while sleeping, my brain is STILL trying to figure things out - when does it rest?

I usually consider the pro's and con's of a situation and attempt to make rational descisions, based on reason and logic. It doesn't always work, but it makes me feel like I tried my best. Life still has a way of blindsiding me with new circumstances that I could never have even conceived before. I roll with the punches and try to learn along the way.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally, I like to go out on Friday nights, but that's not every week. I can often be found at home, playing Pet Society on Facebook and surfing LOL Cats.

Oh wait, was I supposed to lie here? Let me try that again...

Every Friday, I sing all night in a trendy jazz club downtown where it is standing room only. After my set, I attend high end after-parties until dawn, breaking hearts along the way.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I use welding gloves as oven mitts.
You should message me if
Please message me if you a sentient Homo sapien male who is educated and well read.
Please do not be horrified by smoking, drinking or a rubenesque woman.

Definitely message me if you're the kind of guy who knows where his towel is at.
