My self-summary
I'm 27, looking to have as much fun as I can, while I can. I'm chronically shy, I'm a huge nerd, and I study more than I party (but I party harder than I study). Right now I'm just living my life, making friends, and working towards a future that (hopefully) turns out alright.

I'm not the most outgoing person on earth... until you get to know me (which can, sadly, take a while). I have an acute understanding of my personality flaws, but I don't make a big deal out of other people's (if I even notice). I'm pretty self aware, and I think I'm worse off for it, though sometimes it can come in handy.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a lifelong student in the sense that I have literally been in school for as long as I remember, and in the sense that I never want to stop learning. I'm working and going to school for Pharmacy right now, planning on graduating in the fall and working in Indianapolis.
I’m really good at
Sarcasm (in a good way), public speaking, ignoring my homework, google searches, playing pointless games on the internet, thinking too much, daydreaming, not crashing my car, getting into intense conversations, being a shoulder to cry on, setting travel arrangements, smiling.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair (which has been described as both "difficult" and "glorious") and my laugh (which needs to be heard to be believed).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
To be honest with you, I have trouble picking favorites in things, because I tend to like a random assortment of things for various reasons. I'm just going to give you a a brief overview of what I'm into right now...

Books (the largest, and most important category):
"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip K Dick
"Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
"The Lazarus Project" by Aleksandar Hemon
"Gentlemen of the Road" by Michael Chabon
The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett
"The Dark Fields" by Alan Glynn

If you could't tell, its fairly random. I like sort of just picking up books that seem interesting and reading them. Although I do tend towards science fiction and fantasy, I'll read anything with vibrant characters.

Children of Men
Blazing Saddles
Thelma and Louise
Reservoir Dog
Star Trek (2009)

I don't watch too much TV, and if I do watch it, it tends to be about 10 years late. Right now I'm watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the 2009 season of Futurama.

I've sort of fallen out of touch with music over the last few years, which makes me a bit sad. It used to be a very important part of my life, but now I mostly find myself listening to stereotypic "oldies but goodies" like the beetles and Jimi Hendrix. I had a brief love affair with LCD Soundsystem, but it sadly, faded.

Curry. Anything with Curry. Indian food is wonderful, mostly because of the curry.
But in all seriousness, I love to discover new restaurants, even if the food isn't something that I traditionally enjoy.
Six things I could never do without
Friends, family, warm blankets, time to myself, stars, and my car.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about where I want to go versus where I am right now. I'm a person that very focused on long term goals, and sometimes the here and now kind of slips away from me. This may sound odd, but I really letting my mind wander, though this does tend to give people the impression that I'm a bit of a space case (which is not necessarily untrue).

I spend a fair bit of time thinking about school, and probably a great deal too much time worrying about things that probably don't matter at all. If you're wondering, I have been accused of being a but high strung.
On a typical Friday night I am
Since I'm in college, my answer should probably be something like "totally out at the bars." But its probably more likely that I'm snuggling up with a textbook, which is lame, I know. When classes aren't in session or I have a rare evening free you can probably find me chillin with a couple of friends, or playing board games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I seem really intense and aggressive when you first meet me, but I'm really not. I'm more of a goofball that anyone you are ever likely to meet.
You should message me if
You think I'm someone you want to get to know a little better, or if you just wanna chat for a little.
