I am looking for someone that I can challenge to be better, and someone who will challenge me to do the same. I want to enjoy life, and get the best I can out of it. I think it would be more fun and enjoyable to share that journey with someone who thinks the same.
I try to keep life simple. My philosophy is to do onto others as you would have them do onto you, work hard and give your very best in everything you do.
I have a very good sense of humor, and have pulled off some legendary practical jokes. I can be a little bit off the wall at times, but all within reason.
If I had a motto, it would be: "Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance - take it. If it changes your life - let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."
The ability to communicate openingly and honestly is very key for me. While relationships can be very rewarding, they are hard work, and do not come with a few bumps along the way. A person needs to be willing to put in the time and effort to make a great relationship happen, and not run and jump ship at the first sign of difficulties. Solving problems and working through issues can be important parts of building a strong and lasting friendship.
Looking for someone who feels the same, and is looking to invest their time and energy into building something that is strong, great, and will last.
I played sports through HS and college, and keep pretty active. I coach youth sports, and have now for 20 years. I find it keeps me young by hanging around kids (ages 12-19), it keeps me busy, I get lots of exercise, and I get to be a positive voice in their lives.

What's next, movies? Oh, this isn't good. I grew up reading comic books so I have an affinity for all things Marvel (DC isn't bad either). The Avengers, Thor, Iron Man.... the list goes on and on.
From there, Serendipity, Good Will Hunting, Meet Joe Black, The Last Samurai, Rounders, Shawshank Redemption, Field of Dreams.... maybe I should stop while I am ahead....???
