I have a pile of 'likes' but I have no idea who they are from!
After reading a few profiles, I realize mine is woefully lacking in information and photos. I will fix this situation over the next week or so.
I consider OKCupid a service for people to meet each other and determine if there is any reason to get to know one another. I would like to meet someone who shares some of my interests, has a positive world view and a great sense of humour. I like to laugh.
I am very healthy, I work out and eat well and enjoy the company of my friends and family.
Recently my favourite quote is by Steve Jobs:
"Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life.
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."
I like doing things but I also like just hanging out at home.
I am in the midst of a transition but I am definitely doing what I want to be doing.
I'm reading two books right now, one about the human brain and one about Buddhism.
I listen to all sorts of music and am slowly learning to play the violin - mostly traditional music and gypsy music. I really enjoy listening to Gregorian Chants when I need to slow down and relax.
I like live theatre of all sorts and will be seeing the Book of Mormon soon.
Movies? I like a good comedy and other types as well but I hate horror movies and rarely watch movies with a lot of violence.
And my furniture taste is a mix of new and old.
Early mornings, the sky and hot showers.
I am interested in a variety of people but over the years I have determined that I have some very clearly defined preferences. I am not interested in fellas that ride motorcycles, nor men who are into Nascar etc. I have no interest in gentlemen that have strong religious beliefs. Finally, if you watch a lot of sports on TV it is unlikely we will get along.
