My self-summary
I will start here.... I am Scott. I like a ton of different things and am a bit of a dork/nerd/whatever you want to call it. I'm from SoCal (aka Southern California). I listen to tons of different kinds of music, favorite bands include (but are not limited to) Blink 182, Frank Sinatra, and Reel Big Fish. I am a huge movie person, I prefer old movies and love to watch my old movies a lot. I can't even begin to narrow down favorites. I love Mexican Food. I love cartoons for some weird reason. I can be extremely loud and random, also very quiet depending on the day and situation. I love to travel. I like making obscure references that few people understand. I die a little inside when Mufasa dies in The Lion King. I am very very protective of friends and family. I have a slightly bum knee (had ACL reconstruction a few years ago). I don't understand people just being straight up mean to others (yet my friends and I jokingly make mean comments to each other quite frequently). I am former a writer for a television series, which basically means I can ramble on typing for a really long time, and that's pretty much what's happened here.

Feel free to message me with questions, I am a really open person and am willing to answer any questions you have :) plus a woman who has the courage to start a conversation is kind of attractive.
Seriously, just ask! I don't bite =P
What I’m doing with my life
I am a wandering soul trying to find my way in the world.

All in all, I am taking life one day at a time, and keeping my chin up.
Cause really, isn't that all we can do?
I’m really good at
Communication. I am good at being me. Being open and honest. And sharing my experiences.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know.

If we meet, you can tell me :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Through The Looking Glass, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, War of the Worlds, The Invisible Man, Brave New World, 1984

Movies is wayyyyyy to big a list to even begin putting on here. I like everything from Chick Flicks (I do enjoy The Notebook) to Sci-Fi (I'm a Star Wars nerd *pushes glasses up and inhales from inhaler* =P) to psychological thrillers (I LOVE Alfred Hitchcock). Basically I just love movies in general. If you know/have/like old movies MAJOR POINTS FOR YOU!!!!

Shows (theater): Anything Shakespeare, well done Pinter productions, Slaughter House 5 (just an odd show that struck a chord with me), of course Phantom, A Chorus Line, The Producers, Twelve Angry Men, Sweeney Todd, Waiting for Godot, Blithe Spirit, Deathtrap, Avenue Q, Chicago, Pippin, (thanks to Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Executive Director for convincing me to see it) Peter and the Star Catcher. The list goes on, but if you are truly interested we can talk about that sometime

Shows (Television): Futurama, Archer, Pacific Heat, Spongebob, Phineas and Ferb, It's Always Sunny, Through The Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, IT Crowd, The X-Files, Twin Peaks, Penny Dreadful. I'm kind of picky sometimes, other times I am not. I have more favorites, if you'd like to know ask.

Music: Punk, Ska, and Reggae are hands down my favorite genres. Favorite bands include, but aren't limited to Blink 182, Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys, Dirty Heads, Bob Marley, Reel Big Fish, Big D and the Kids Table... the list continues lol. BUT I listen to pretty much anything. I love classical and classical style music. I love pop, rap, r&b, punk, techno, EDM, opera, musicals, etc.

Food: I'm kinda picky/not really. For instance: I don't mind lettuce on my taco's but can't stand it on my burgers.
Six things I could never do without
I'll give you some answers, and if you like you can ask why I couldn't do without them. Some may have different reasons than you think. (These answers are not including necessities like air, water, a pulse, etc. or obvious things like family, friends, car, etc.)

Long walks
Sign Language
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future
What's next to do today
Where is life headed, and what have I learned thus far.
Why do girls wanna pierce their nose? And walk around in torn pantyhose? (random references anyone? anyone? no just me? Ok....)
How does this work? (I often pick up random things or stop places and get curious as to how exactly it works or imagine how it came to be.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after an exhausting work week. I tend to like staying in or doing dinner and a movie on Friday nights. But I don't really have a "typical" because I don't like falling into a set schedule either.
But on a Friday night, regardless of what it is, I can guarantee that it won't be super active or anything that requires much energy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am an open book. I am open to all questions.
I will give you a random piece though (if I have too =P )
I have five tattoo's. My first is a Claddagh that stands for love, loyalty, and friendship. I have a cross on my back that over time will be filled in. I have tic-tac-toe on my back and so does the rest of my immediate family (humor is a godsend that has gotten us through some rough times and the tic-tac-toe game is a representation of that). And I also have the word "Sunshine" with two hills and a sun on the bottom of my foot (so no matter how down and out I feel I can remind myself it can't be that bad, I'm still walking on sunshine). And most recently a character from Futurama on my leg.
Also I am non-denominational Christian, NOT LDS (one of the first questions always asked when people find out I live in UT) and I WILL NOT convert to the LDS church. Sorry, not sorry. So if that is a problem.... that sucks.

Like I said though, I am an open book. If you have a question, just ask :)
You should message me if
You find anything you have read to be interesting
You feel like saying hi (please say something more than that though.... nothing bugs me more than a message that says "hi", kind of the wrong foot to start on with me)
You have an irrational fear of not messaging people
You are NOT a hater!
You feel like it
You think we have something in common you would to share
You actually took the time to read all the way down to this because at this point I am just seeing how long I can type and make you keep reading this. It is thoroughly entertaining to me at this moment to think about you sitting in front of your computer reading about how I'm thinking about you.... even though I have never met you. So am I actually thinking about you? Or are you actually a figment of my imagination?

But for reals time! Message me if you would like to get to know me. Message me if you want to have a real conversation. I hope for honesty from people because I am nothing but honest with everyone else. I hope that you can see beyond what has often been described as "goofiness" and see that I am truly just a guy looking for something right in the world. I want nothing more than to meet people and see where things go.

You can always tell me to go away, and I will. You can tell me to shut up, and I will. Don't be a dick and lead me on though!
