My self-summary
So yeah, in essence a musician trying to find his own little niche in the world

I spend most of my time and energy working with audio:usually this entails recording jam sessions at Pearl Studios in Jersey City, NJ. And yes, it's filled with all the debauchery and nihilism one would expect.

Aside from that, I tend to find solace in reading whatever I can get my hands on, watching people make fools of themselves, playing around with gadgets and wasting hours upon hours on wikipedia/youtube tangents.

I'm generally a pretty chill and nonchalant kind of guy; easily gets comfortable in a given situation or with new people, but always down to do something new
What I’m doing with my life
Studying audio engineering at the Institute of Audio Research in NYC.

Once I'm certified and equipped, I plan on helping out my fellow local musicians by putting together an indie label, distributing and producing our own releases, and touring the country as a traveling freak show of bands.

Also an admitted dilettante in things like natural & computer science, visual art, philosophy, & linguistics. Hey, maybe it'll all coalesce into something coherent one day!
I’m really good at
I'd LIKE to think playing guitar and making practical use of my ears, but there's always the off chance that I'm entirely delusional

Walking for hours on end without getting the least bit exhausted
The first things people usually notice about me
I suppose you can find out for yourself ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As a musician I actively, almost obsessively, seek influence from whatever artists and genres I can find.

An evening's playlist can consist of The Mars Volta,Red Hot CHili Peppers, Miles Davis, Mos Def, The Smiths, Opeth, Misfits, Converge, Radiohead, Fugazi, Stravinski and Autechre.

And that would just be the first hour

I prefer an actual piece of CINEMA, ART!, over a "substantial" plot anyday.

Pulp Fiction
Easy Rider
Un Chien Andalou
Godfather II
Taxi Driver
Waking Life
Natural Born Killers

Comedies. They are seriously the only programs worth watching.

Arrested Development
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The Daily Show
South Park
OH, and The History Channel from time to time (Yeah I'm a nerd, AND WHAT!?)

Just check out my Goodreads Profile.

I also read a lot of essays and interviews. Anything which can give me the illusion of having communicated with another human being

Let's just say I'm probably the least picky eater you will ever know
Six things I could never do without
New York City
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Jamming at Pearl Studios in Jersey City, NJ

Or trying to figure out something new to do with the crew

And, even better, actually FINDING something to do and having a story to tell Sunday morning (and yes, I do mean Sunday)

But usually,it's a quiet night in, trying get some kind of atmosphere and ambiance going.

Whatever happens to go with the flow
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The fact that I'm even on OkCupid
You should message me if
You don't mind spending the day walking around aimlessly and laughing at the vagaries of life...preferably in some altered state of consciousness ;)
