My self-summary
Software engineer, lived in NC for two years, and I'm moving around for a bit, Austin, Tel Aviv, Sydney, Kyoto and I'm still discovering things. Moved from Louisiana. Rendering puns, wearing hats, eating beer and drinking pizza.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a Louisiana native that moved to Durham, NC to escape the heat, and failed. In reality I moved to get closer to my family, and I enjoy spending a bunch of time with them. I started moving around to various new homes around March to travel the world. Otherwise life is busy with trying to get myself situated and exploring.
I’m really good at
Math, Cooking, Being incredibly frank if somebody has something important they want to talk about.
I'm also pretty dang funny, I've heard....
The first things people usually notice about me
I look like Seth Rogen.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book wise my favorite series would have to be Dune, and I've really enjoyed reading anything by Robin Hobb, so the Assasin's trilogy, the Fool trilogy, etc. I like anything by Robert Heinlein and I can say that Michael Crichton is always a fun read. (although I think his pseudo science is silly)
I've been reading the Wheel of Time series lately, and my friend has gotten me into Doctor Who as well. I sometimes get into the Reality shows on Discovery/The History Channel like Gold Rush and Sons of Guns. I really like 30 Rock and am a huge Tina Fey fan. Most of the other shows on TV are too far into the series to even tell what's going on, so I tend not to follow anything syndicated. I'll watch cartoons and stuff too if the mood hits me.
I like foreign films and tv as well. I actually enjoy watching old tokusatsu stuff from Japan, Kamen Rider, Godzilla, Super Sentai. Maturity is not high on my list of priorities when it comes to entertainment.
Music: Black Keys, The Heavy, The Dear Hunter, Bonobo, Gotye, Kimbra, People in Planes, Mutemath, M83 Etc.
Six things I could never do without
A nice, warm bed
Bookshelves so I don't create literary caltrops
A good, sharp knife (for cooking, nothing weird, I swear!)
A stylish chapeau
Seriously. A bed. Need that thing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm always trying to come up with some big ploy that'll get me rich. Not that I end up in wacky sitcom-style schemes, but the likelihood is still there.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm a homebody so I usually stay at home either watching TV, reading, playing video games, or trying out a new recipe.
That or out for a drink with a friend or two.

More recently just discovering the places I've plopped myself into.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My first pet was a baby chicken and I ended up killing it by hugging it too hard. That probably scarred me for life or something.
You should message me if
You want to talk to a guy whose impressions all sound like Bill Cosby.

Or if you've ever gotten a black eye from your phone falling on your face while surfing the internet in bed.
