My self-summary
To be continued...
What I’m doing with my life
Finding my way...and enjoying the journey and the surprises!
I’m really good at
- helping others and building community
- remodeling old houses
- listening, conversation, using my intuition, appreciating the simple gifts
- taking care of my family and friends
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a happy, friendly, authentic character.
I'm guessing I must look approachable or something because every country or place I visit people tend to approach me to ask for directions, etc.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
food - i'm very food friendly, i.e. i've not met a food i haven't liked

movies - As It Is In Heaven (K. Pollack) Departures (Y. Takita), Babette's Feast (G. Axel), Like Water for Chocolate (A. Arau), Chocolat (L. Hallstrom), Life Is Beautiful (R. Benigni), Cinema Paradiso, Shawshank Redemption, Magnolia, Inception, Juno, As Good As It Gets, Matrix, Blade Runner.

shows - i enjoy pretty much all performing arts , live music, etc...

music - very eclectic (listening to Krishna Das at the moment but it could easily be blues, jazz, older rock, modern pop, latin or brazilian
Six things I could never do without
the ascetic in me says, "I can do without"

essentials besides air and water might be:
feeling loved, sense of purpose and connectivity (a nice bold red Cab. Sau. and a few close friends to share it)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how might we grow as human beings to share and care for the planet and each other in a more loving way
On a typical Friday night I am
probably at Home Depot with my 13.5 year old Labrador getting supplies for the next remodel project or perhaps considering a weekend excursion or simply unwinding from a full work week, enjoying some music, conversing with my neighbors and building a bit of community
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
won't be found in this box but will naturally emerge as we foster a meaningful, in-person friendship/relationship.
You should message me if
- you think the key fits

- you are open to exploring the possibility of finding that elusive and sought after chemistry

- you prefer to spend less time in front of the computer and are open to meeting in person sooner rather than later
