My self-summary
Hello, just your typical weirdo here. I find it silly that a short self summary seems more daunting then the 20 page intensive research papers I used to do. Here it goes.....

I would consider myself a bit of a nerd. I love a good night in with friends, board games, table top rpgs or video games. However, I have never gotten into comic books or collectibles. When I find something that interests me I actively research and learn all I can about it. I truly am a life long learner. I am relatively tech savvy when it comes to computers and printers but it takes me forever to figure out how to operate a new cell phone.

I love anything and everything to do with astronomy, art, psychology, photography, and most of the sciences.

I like to play around with concepts surrounding identity and will often change my hair color/ length/ style or dress a little strangely. I feel that identity is fluid in nature and I can enjoy whatever I am feeling that day.

I am extremely compassionate and understanding. I am really open minded but will not believe just anything unless it can be backed up with research. I'm a pretty eclectic sort and often find myself collecting hobbies but not really mastering any of them.

This is an open call to people who have high levels of give a shit-ness. People who believe in goodness, kindness, humanity and creativity with all their being.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology Dec 2015 and am working at The Shiloh House with troubled youth. I recently started applying to graduate school for clinical counseling.
I'm also pursuing some hobbies in art photography, yoga, belly dancing, and body painting.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a ton of time thinking about people and how they interact and how my behavior affects them. I suppose it goes with the territory of being a psych nerd. I also really enjoy anything cosmic related. I often like to go star gazing and read science articles on various star systems and new findings. I'm extremely interested in how stars are formed/ how they die, the greater patterns in the universe, chaos theory, dark matter and black holes.

I actually try to avoid thinking about the current political climate. It's not that I don't care but really that I would care too much and it would drive me insane researching it. I am an avid researcher and don't take anything at face value until I have done my own extensive research on the matter (it really is a shame that news sites often twist the truth).
On a typical Friday night I am
I often pick up extra shifts at work but I typically have friday off. I tend to go on hikes, read at coffee shops, play games, watch movies, whatever sounds good at the time really. Photo adventures are another favorite thing of mine!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I likes puns they make me happy.
You should message me if
You love astronomy
You like video games
You like the idea of introverted time together (playing separate games next to each other, reading next to each other etc.)
You like table top roleplaying games
You want to do art/photography together.

I am really tired of the whole dating game. I don't want to play by the "rules" I want real authentic connection. I want honesty and communication. I'm looking for something real and hopefully lasting. If you feel this on a deeper level then message me, if this freaks you out a little or you think it's stupid then don't.

Also, please do not message me in chat speak and/or one sentence. If you are really going to take the time to reach out to someone then at least use full sentences and think of something interesting to say.
