My self-summary
I always find it difficult to describe myself, but here goes...

I wrote a book, entitled Until Then, available at Check it out. Yeah, I know, shameless plug...

I am nice, smart, hardworking, loyal, sometimes romantic, have a pretty good sense of humor and don't have a single picture of me shirtless, anywhere. I am much better in person than on paper.

I'm originally from Massachusetts and have lived in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, the Capital District in New York and am currently in Virginia. I'm a big Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots fan, and have been my whole life. Despite leaving my hometown, my hometown teams never left me...

Let's see, what else? I guess I should mention I am happily divorced (and have been for 4 years) and have a son, who currently lives with his mother (my ex-wife) in Pennsylvania. I have him every other weekend and he is the most important person in my life, but there is definitely room for a 1a on the list. There is no drama between my ex and me, so no worries there.

I like to have fun and enjoy going to the movies, restaurants, concerts, the theatre and sporting events. I can't cook all that well, so a romantic homemade dinner is probably not going to happen, but that's why there are nice restaurants, right? I am down to earth and rarely serious (except when need be). I like to joke around and make people laugh.
What I’m doing with my life
Working 8 hours a day, finding the balance between work and life, keeping my eyes open for the one, taking time to smile and laugh as often as possible...
I’m really good at
Making people laugh; making fun of myself; writing; impersonations: Tom Brokaw, Sean Connery, movie trailer guy and a pretty damn good Mickey Mouse (at least according to my son).
The first things people usually notice about me
I look younger than I am... I have long eyelashes (which, I've been told, makes some girls jealous)...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite books: A Prayer for Owen Meaney by John Irving and pretty much all James Patterson books.
Favorite movies: The American President, The Hangover, When Harry Met Sally, Toy Story (all 3), Cars, Wedding Crashers, American Pie
Favorite TV Shows: Person of Interest, The Blacklist, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Criminal Minds, Psych, Burn Notice, Fringe, American Dad, Modern Marvels.
Favorite Music: Coldplay, Green Day, Our Lady Peace, Cage the Elephant, Philip Phillips, Taylor Swift, etc.
Favorite Food: Seafood, Italian, a well-done hamburger...
The six things I could never do without
1. My son
2. Coca-Cola
3. TV
4. Hockey
5. Candy (mainly Snickers and Starburst)
6. Ben & Jerry's
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what if the theories presented on Ancient Aliens are correct, what to get at the grocery store...
On a typical Friday night I am
well, every other Friday I work and the other ones I usually like to just relax and unwind after finishing 10 straight days of working...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I read 50 Shades of Grey...
You should message me if
you want to talk to a normal, sane, all around decent guy... You know to use the word "who" when talking about a person and not "that"... if you picked up on the fact i love ellipses... Or you simply found me stunningly handsome when you looked at my pictures and/or are jealous i have a pic with a giant, lego woody...
