My self-summary
Chickens. I used to have a small flock of chickens.
As an introvert, I tend towards home, out of the way places, am close with both my nearby adult children, enjoy deep, meaningful conversations, inner growth, intimacy, and no drama. My home is a 1930’s farmhouse, my vehicle a Ford Truck, my riding mower a John Deere; I have a complete set of tools.

I have a college education, professional background, am creative, fun, build and fix things and write. I am alcohol and drug-free and a former smoker.

My spirituality is drawn from several sources and experiences, including my Jewish background. I am not Christian.

Chemistry and attraction as determined by my love map bring me to slender/average size women, somewhere between 40 and 60. My photo is current, as is yours.

I am seeking an open-minded, loving woman to make a life with me in the country, among rolling hills, creeks, and lakes, mountain views, animals, gardens, and serenity. And cat.

Best of success in finding whom you seek.
What I’m doing with my life
I am semi-retired from private practice and enjoying the soul of my 1930's farmhouse, gardening, reading, writing and publishing, always learning and growing, creating.
I’m really good at
Talking with cats, making coffee, Intuition, interpreting dreams, fixing stuff, writing and being supportive. I cook tasty.
The first things people usually notice about me
No idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
To Kill A Mockingbird is number one. Women who Run with Wolves, IQ84 and Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami. Atlas Shrugged, Catcher in the Rye, Running With Scissors, Karl Marx, to name several. I like existential, surreal, spiritual and self-help (Buddhism, Kabbalah, Jung, Visions of Mary); foreign films, Gran Torino.
Art: Banksy
Music - Carlos Nakai and Coyote Old Man. Folk, Jazz, blues, blue-grass, black gospel, Janis Joplin.
FOOD: Enjoy Indian, Thai, Turkish, Mexican, Sushi, pastries, about everything and spicy.
Good, fresh ground coffee - Yes. And NPR and Democracy Now..
The six things I could never do without
Connections with my children
Beauty - nature
Coffee and cats
Connections with people dear to me
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My children and what kind of world they will live in.
Why we don't have free health care for everyone as a priority? Why we value consumption and production and money ahead of people? What to write about...how to meet that special lady and if she even exists.
On a typical Friday night I am
Feeding the fire and waiting for you. Or trying to get my cat inside.
Lighting shabbos candles.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I do not own or watch TV or hang out at sports bars, seek crowds, jump from moving airplanes or leap from tall places dangling from a rope.
You should message me if
Your divorce papers are recorded in the courthouse, your photo is clear and current, you like cats, are a free-spirit and emotionally available. No one is perfect. Most of us are still in the process of learning and becoming better people. Your past is past. What you have done with it is what is important. It is time to give something in helping the world become a better place. And a loving relationship is a good example to set. If anything I said resonates with you, as my children say, "hit me up."
