My self-summary
When I was little, I wanted to grow up to be a cowboy. I think this song still has me pegged:

I've got spurs that
Jingle, jangel, jingle
As I go riding merrily along.

And they sing, 'Oh, ain't you
Glad you're single?'
And that song ain't
So very far from wrong.

Oh, Lillie Belle! Oh, Lillie Belle
Though I may have done some fooling
This is why I never fell.

I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
As I go riding merrily along.
What I’m doing with my life
cultivating my mind and body into a calculating and ruthless (killing) machine. but also, you know, applying for jobs/trying to figure out if i want to go back to school. the normal stuff.
I’m really good at
managing my okcupid account
The first things people usually notice about me
my dark and troubled past
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TinTin, Blood Meridian, The Odyssey, A Midsummer Night's Dream

so many movies.

The Wire, 30 Rock, Mad Men, Sports Night

i listen to everything, and hopefully not in a cliche kinda way. but seriously: country, bluegrass, old-time, top 40, hip-hop, gregorian chants, dub step, prog. yodeling, and i grew up playing classical violin.

food is also sort of a cop-out, "i love everything" kind of an answer, except i've never been crazy about pizza.
The six things I could never do without
1 food - i think i could survive physically without it, but it's delicious
2 air - see ans. to #1 - wind is just the best, isn't it?
3 exercise, which i take to mean a combo of jazzercise, and exorcism
4 people, particularly their online dating-site avatar versions
5 humor, good, i.e. ice cream sandwiches
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what i'm doing tomorrow, but definitely not the day after
On a typical Friday night I am
out hunting evil spirits in impossibly eerie bavarian forests rife with untold dangers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i'm sometimes embarrassed by my involuntary sports fanaticism.
