I love cooking and baking, spend way too much time online, and have devoted a lot of time this summer to exploring various hiking trails in Austin. I tend to ramble a lot (obviously), have owned three black cats (purely by coincidence), and am kind of annoyed that all my friends are coupling up and settling down.
I haven't been on here for a while so some of my answers to various questions may have slightly changed. What hasn't changed: liberal, feminist, atheist. Also y'all I have no idea what your all-caps letter mashup personality thing means because I don't have the patience to take the damn test myself.
Hockey learn how to skate lessons? Sure. Boxing lessons? OK, why not. In other words, I've got a lot going on this summer.
My Netflix/Hulu history includes the Great British Baking Show, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, the Wire, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Community, Arrested Development, America's Test Kitchen, Parks & Rec, lots of Star Trek. Movie-wise, I'll watch almost everything except rom-coms (for real, fuck rom-coms, y'all) and gory horror. Off the top of my head, a few things I really dig: Aliens, the Shining, Mean Girls, Spaceballs, Rocky Horror, the Fall, Mulholland Drive, the Avengers, the Royal Tenenbaums, more. Also, hockey. It's hockey season, which means I'll be watching a LOT of hockey.
Music loves are too numerous to mention, but for a rough idea just imagine anything you'd see on a stage at Fun Fun Fun Fest, plus some jazz, blues, and old-school country. I love going to concerts. Lately I've been listening fairly frequently to Anderson.Paak, Sharon Van Etten, Courtney Barnett, Angel Olsen, Destroyer, the Mountain Goats, Shearwater, Nick Cave, the Monks, the Bush Tetras, Goldfrapp, and so much more.
I didn't know what to put here, but every time I looked at the blank space and that damn ellipsis I thought of this quote. I figure it's as good as any other. If you recognize the source and don't judge me too terribly for it that'd be great.
