My self-summary
I'm an extrovert. ENFJ if you keep track of these things.

I grew up in Seattle and moved here for film school. Now I run a production company and love my life.

I like snow a little too much. And mountains. And beaches. And mountains that are next to beaches.

I love music. I play guitar and mandolin, sing, and write.

I do lots of visual effects, which require practical applications of math I learned in school and thought I'd never use.

I'm a nerd about old camera lenses, tea, whiskey, wine, and movies.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm making my living as a freelance commercial director and editor. Eventually I hope to be Joss Whedon. Meanwhile, I'm hiring my skills out for nefarious and profitable purposes.

When I'm not doing that, I'm writing music, watching movies, reading, snowboarding, cooking, making cocktails, biking, hiking, finding excuses to travel, and traveling for no reason.
I’m really good at
Tying obscure knots. Using chopsticks. Flying kites that can kill you. Optimism.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Farseer Trilogy. A Visit from the Goon Squad. Currently reading and fascinated by S.

Scott Pilgrim, Hugo, Hanna, How to Train Your Dragon, Life of Pi, Wall-E, The Lego Movie. Also, pretty much everything by Matthew Vaughn, Tarantino, and Miyazaki.

Nickel Creek, Monsters and Men, Bad Religion, Death Cab, Good Old War, Circa Survive, Mountain Goats, Metric, etc.

Justified, Firefly, Futurama, Mad Men, Samurai Champloo, Party Down, Breaking Bad, Sherlock

Rare steak. Raw fish. Häagen-Dazs. Dark red wine. Matcha Green Tea. Espresso. Whiskey.

I have 21 varieties of bitters in my cabinet, and I am obsessed with making egg white cocktails.
Six things I could never do without
Good photography of things I have yet to experience, music, cameras, snow, tea, and cats.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Making movies, making music, having adventures, doing the above more often and to greater effect.

Also, how I would design my home for efficient owl-human cohabitation were I a billionaire.
On a typical Friday night I am
The same thing we do every night, Pinky.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My bicycle is named after the night fury in How to Train Your Dragon and my mandolin is named after Captain Mal's starship.
You should message me if
If you're passionate about something and adventure-prone. If you're independent, ambitious, love learning, and love yourself.
