My self-summary
I'm a Game Designer by day and the world laziest superhero by night. I'm a big fan of video games and nerd culture, but I can't help but wonder if there's something to the idea of "infantilization of culture". I think that no idea, organization, or individual is above fair criticism.

I do my best to treat everybody with respect and want equality, but I don't really like the modern "PC" climate. I don't think it's fair to call it "Politically Correct" either. The PC movement of the 90's was misguided at times, but it was generally about making people feel included and respected. The modern movement seems to be more about tearing one another down and competing to see who is the most oppressed.

I'm typically able to see all sides of an argument, even if I take one over the other, which makes me seem kind of wishy-washy or contrarian to a lot of people.
What I’m doing with my life
During the fall and spring I'm mostly stuck in a computer lab making video games. I'm about to finish up a degree in Game Design in the spring, and will be looking for a job doing that in the near future. It typically takes up pretty much my entire life, hence why I'm on this site.
I’m really good at
Learning things or figuring them out. I see things happen and try to come up with an explanation. That might seem like a strange point, but my first degree is in sociology, and I do a lot of trying to understand human behaviour in general.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my smile. I've always been told I have a good one. Personally I prefer my eyes, I have really cool dark blue eyes.

The six things I could never do without
NEVER could do without is stretching it. Maybe "I would be lost without"?
1) Video Games (it is what I'm dedicating my life towards)
2) Movies
3) A watch
4) a good book
5) Blank pieces of paper and a writing utensil.
6) Air Conditioning. Seriously...I'm dying here!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
About how we tend to over simplify just about everything. I rarely find that I agree with either side in a given argument. So I guess...I think a lot about pretty much anything before I react to it?
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually doing school work. I'm hoping to change that. Otherwise, I'm probably trying to get my friends to grab food and see a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I haven't gone on more than a few dates since I moved to WA 3 years ago. I've been super busy with school, and going to a tech school means that I very rarely meet women.
You should message me if
You want to talk. Don't favourite me, don't rate me, just send me a message...I'd much rather talk, and I'm totally down with the girl making first contact.

You know of good place for cocktails that's not super crowded and we could get to know one another.

You know of any good non-asian food joints in the area.

You're interested in regular walks and exercise. I'm trying to get back in shape and could use someone to keep me honest about it.

You would like to play a game. I used to spend a good amount of time playing games co-op, and have been missing doing that lately.
