My self-summary
Do you like football? Do you like nachos? Well, why don't you come over and watch the game, and we'll have nachos? And then, some beer.

I'm a bit a huge dork. I'm not a world-traveller (though I have visited more than two countries) and I was bored with camping by the time I hit puberty. I'm a Seattle native, and we're a dying breed.

If I had to define my life in one sentence, I have no idea what that'd be. But I damn well know that it'd be italicized.

I have never taken the Myers-Briggs test, but I passed the Voight-Kampff test with flying colors.
What I’m doing with my life
Supplying restaurants with the shit they need to function. Watching any and all soccer games, specifically Manchester City. Going out for the sake of going out, staying in for the sake of staying in.
I’m really good at
Crosswords. Trivial Pursuit. Various video games, I have a knack. Karaoke--especially "Sweet Transvestite," I nail all the pauses. Basic household plumbing. Pool.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm brutally thin and will never gain weight. People will usually make a Star Wars joke upon hearing my name.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

TeeVee
Doctor Who, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, BSG, The Wire, Firefly, Parks & Rec, QI, Top Gear, Futurama

Music
M83, Tom Waits, The Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Battles, Explosions in the Sky, Built to Spill, Joy Division, Justice, Neutral Milk Hotel, Sigur Ros... "Moonlight Sonata" is still my favorite musical work of all time.

Literature
The Power of One, Cryptonomicon, Herman Hesse, Kurt Vonnegut, Trainspotting, Good Omens, those wonderful essay collections by Sarah Vowell and David Sedaris

Graphic literature
Transmetropolitan, Planetary, Hate, Sam & Max, Sandman, Berlin, Persepolis, Cerebus (despite Dave Sim's steep descent into batshit crazy), Hark! A Vagrant

Games
Bastion, Civilization & Alpha Centauri, Skyrim, Chrono Trigger, Katamari Damacy, classic LucasArts adventure games, XCOM, Castlevania, Terraria

Radio
Radiolab, Seattle Kitchen, the Car Talk-Wait Wait Don't Tell Me-This American Life Saturday-morning block on KUOW, Air-Raid.net... I listened to a shitload of Loveline back when I was a gangly teenager
The six things I could never do without
At least six of my fingers, though if I had to choose I'd specify the thumbs and indexes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My train of thought runs from "what is the etymology of the word 'callipygian'" to "an HD remake of 'ToeJam and Earl' would be awesome" to "oh hey, I should probably get a haircut." It's not particularly concise.
On a typical Friday night I am
I like making things up as I go along. Not to say that I've got some kind of vendetta against scheduling, but usually I'll find myself not even thinking about what to do until I'm off work on Friday afternoon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really dig transsexual-themed musicals.

I speak Japanese because my aunt taught me. Weeaboos make me uncomfortable.

If I don't have a pen, I just won't do the crossword. Pencil feels dirty and wrong.

I was once punched in the head by a crack addict. Wait, that's not private... that's hilarious.
You should message me if
I have to admit, I went joke-mode on my profile. But if you got the references, or agree with my tastes, then I think we'll get along swimmingly.
