I have always found myself preoccupied with the joy of laughter, the ecstasy of music, and the adventure of exploration. I tell stories, real and imagined, to celebrate the idiosyncrasies of life. I am interested first and foremost with truth, compassion, and making connections that stretch unnoticed into the middle of the night.
I am an artist, musician, and a sometimes actor. I am a gentle giant, loud and passionate with a penchant for making people laugh. I fight for the equality of all people. I am a confident man on a journey never finished, blessed with amazing people in my life who continue to show me new paradigms. I love language and communication and I am not afraid to use it.
Light and sound continue to inspire me. I find the smell of forests at night to be intoxicating. I believe that the best way to light today’s room is with last year’s Christmas lights. I am always down for long drives to nowhere with the intent of getting lost. I love progressive rock songs that go on for way too long, listening to them way too loudly. And bourbon. How did I get along without you.
I love singing harmony with friends and finding harmony in those moments.
I am also a sometimes citizen of Slab City, working on a board of directors with the post modern assemblage art encampment Eastjesus.org. It is a habitable, extensible art environment founded by the late Charles S. Russell. The place is just pure magic.
I work as a catalog and fashion photographer for a vintage clothing line.
Singing. I find more satisfaction in that than almost anything.
Music. Though I’m still working on it.
Loyalty. I’m a damn good friend.
Late night adventures. I’m spontaneous and dangerously inquisitive.
