The first think you’ll probably notice about me is that I’m insatiably curious about everything. I don’t mean that in the figurative sense of the word either. That means everything including how our future robot overloads will work, how social dynamics work in a group of new people, how our political and financial system got to where it is today, how our sexuality works both physically and psychologically, and where we are in space and time. This means I’m always up for a new adventure or learning a new skill. Last year, I spent learning salsa and bachata; I actually ended up performing in front of about a thousand people at the Seattle Salsa Congress. This year I’m working on my voice with a singing instructor and I have a few more things on my list.
All things considered, I've been very fortunate, especially when you consider that 5.8 billion people live on less than $10 a day. I think that being privileged also means that I have a responsibility to do what I can to give back. This in conjunction with my love of understanding complex systems means that I spend a lot of my time learning about how the many different systems of the world work and trying to figure out what we can do to make life better for everyone across the world. The proper use of technology in conjunction with some social changes can go a long way towards making that happen. I hope that we can bring about an era of cooperation based on the understanding that common human interests transcend our diversity. We're close to a breakthrough, but we still have a lot of work to do.
What I’m looking for
I value transparency and communication. I like people that are straightforward with their thoughts and wants. I believe that saying yes only has value if you can say no as well and both are important in a good relationship. I like people that understand that you can love someone but not be meant to be together and I like people that understand that some relationships are meant to last a long time and others are only meant to be for a short time, but both can be equally meaningful.
I love people that are intelligent, educated, and have had interesting life experiences. Long nights of conversations about the world and about how the universe got to be where it is now are really exciting. I love that intellectual journeys can be more dynamic and exciting than physically traveling the world.
I love people that are ambitious and driven about accomplishing something, especially if those ambitions are meant to help people or make the world a better in some way. I love helping people make their ambitions come true.
I like people that are adventurous and want to try new things or go on new adventures. I enjoy traveling and exploring new cities and learning new skills. There are a few things that I’d love to learn and more than enough places that we can go.
I like dancing with people, figuring out how our bodies can twist and move and how different people work together. Perhaps we can make it more sensual and sexier as well.
A few real reviews from people I meet while traveling! (via CoushSurfing.com):
"[ManOfTitanium] was great to meet because he gives people inspiration to follow their dreams. I wish we could have chatted longer about his travels. I am planning on doing the same type of journey after quitting my job and it was nice to meet someone who is proof that the dream can be accomplished. Good luck and have a blast! Cheers!"

"[ManOfTitanium] is pretty freaking awesome. He's one of the few who have the guts to step away from it all and look for something new, and something better."
- Alex, Atlanta, GA
"[ManOfTitanium] my wonderful, beautiful, elegant and smart boy from Seattle, Ohio, China, Canada, Burning Man :) I have had a wonderful time whenever we met! We rocked Burning Man, partied until the last moment in Las Vegas and went out dancing and dressing up every day in Tampa!!! I always think about my black cat partner in crime and our fast ride with the black Cabrio listening to Lady Gaga!!! Miss you already and can't wait to see you again at Burning Man!!! :)"

Besides that, data. So much data from everywhere: UN, WTO, NASA, ESA, and different departments of the US government. These provided an unparalleled view into what is going on with the world right now - things that aren't yet understood and haven't been translated into book knowledge yet. It's incredibly exciting!
I spent last year dancing salsa and bachata and I'm slowly learning Argentine tango right now. Getting my pilot's license is also on the list for the next year or so and I'm excited for that.
- What books have you just read and what books are on your to read list?
- What kind of new adventures do you want to go on?
- What new skills do you would you like to learn?
- What kind of projects are you working on?
P.S. If you just hit like, that's like the guys that just message "hey" or "I like you" I know you have words, use them! :)
