My self-summary
My political/religious views reflect my feeling that we are all here to make the world a better place for those we share it with in any way we can. Because of this I'm very much against homophobia, transphobia, racism, or systems that ostracize others for things they cannot control and I'm looking for people who share that belief. I believe in kindness and authenticity, not religion.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in higher education. It's pretty cool.
I’m really good at
stuff. and things. but mostly stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to be pretty quiet but when I'm not it's probably my voice. A lot of people seem to think that it's very calming (at least that's the most common feedback I get when doing presentations).

Also I'm pretty nerdy and will often be wearing a nerdy t-shirt whilst out and about.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Love movies... have way too many of them in fact. Foreign and independent films intrigue me but I'm definitely a sucker for horror and superhero movies. Not interested in worrying about having tastes which impress people, would rather find nerdy/passionate/excited people who find it easier to be authentic.

Doctor Who, TNG, and Bob's Burgers. Horror (again). Seriously, if you want to just hang out, eat things, and watch horror movies I would be so into that.

Books are all over the place. I read lots of different types of things, though lately I've been going for lighter fare since things are often very "real" at work. Music is also all over the board... I mostly have NPR on while driving but get into other genres when in the mood for it.

Any good food is a winner for me- used to work at a culinary school so if it's good I'll try it, even if it's a bit unconventional.
The six things I could never do without
*my close friends
*career/something to keep me from getting bored
*internet since it's pretty much how I keep track of what happens around the rest of the world

everything else is pretty negotiable... I'm not really sold on accumulating things and while I have some nice things I appreciate there is very little that I couldn't give up if I absolutely had to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the coming zombie apocalypse and pie. mmmm... pie.
On a typical Friday night I am
probably doing typical Friday night things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I may just be checking out your profile to steal ideas for new books to read...
