I like to stay active! I play tennis and volleyball regularly, but am usually up for any kind of social sporting activity. And while it all started as an elaborate joke, I'm now a regular in the Yoga Sculpt (aka Beastmode Yoga) classes at CPY. I find that it improves my stamina for all-night dance parties.
I'm a decent cook and love trying out new ideas and recipes. I haven't poisoned anyone yet (except Thanksgiving six years ago when I accidentally infused the turkey with vinegar). My signature dish is roast chicken with stuffing and it is impeccable (except the time that I accidentally lit one on fire while cooking during the big snowstorm we had last winter).
In my free time, I think it's important to give back to the community, mentor young people, and volunteer. I like to support education initiatives and help kids gain access to opportunities that would otherwise be outside their financial reach.
Music: Anything with a good beat for dancing. Weezy, Nicki, Ariana Grande, Mariah, Kendrick Lamar, Tory Lanez, Ginuwine.
Reading: I love to follow the news and keep up on what's happening in the world. BBC and the Economist provide my go-to reading material.
Food: Pizza dominates this category, but I also really enjoy Indian cuisine and sushi.
Yogurt - Every morning for breakfast
Exercise - I feel terrible if I just lay around all day
Passport - I try to explore a different part of the world every year. And I'm not afraid of traveling alone.
Challenges - I am pretty driven and don't like to get bored
