My self-summary
To be upfront, I'm in an open relationship with the love of my life. I'm not looking for "another girlfriend" or someone to "date", I'm looking for a casual friend to visit once in a while.

I'm a dichotomy, a contradiction, a mystery shrouded in an enigma with a riddle at the core; I ride a big cruiser motorcycle (yes I will give you a ride, you just need a helmet), I shave with a straight razor, i smoke a pipe occasionally, I used to have a pretty epic beard. I also love Steel Magnolias, used to be a hairstylist and have very specific and informed opinions on fashion design and the outfits worn to Awards Ceremonies. I can start a fire without matches or a lighter, I can purify water with a coffee can and a piece of plastic and still appreciate a great piece of art or music.
What I’m doing with my life
Taking charge of what I can control, figuring acceptable compromises for things I can't.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at making what seems terrible seem not so terrible anymore through a series of humour, perspective, suggestion and understanding. I'm also a pretty good cook, a computer whiz, and the cats always get fed on time.
The first things people usually notice about me
Always the eyes, they've be described as the color of the ocean after a big storm. I have a nice butt too, but most people don't see that first unless I'm being clumsy and backing up towards them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I watch alot of movies, I build kites, play bass and I spend way too much time online apparently. "World's Fair", "The Lovely Bones", "Lamb:Story of Jesus of Nazareth as Told By His Childhood Friend Biff", "Harry Potter Seried", the Steig Larsson "Millennium Trilogy", the Clive Barker "Abarat" series , "Wicked" as well as old favorites like "Lost Souls" I generally don't like musical films, but I am fanatical in my love for "Repo! The Genetic Opera" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" I read every thing around me wherever I am; People magazine, Popular Mechanics, Modern Latina, it just doesn't matter; good information comes from unlikely sources.

The six things I could never do without
It's all just material ephemera, it doesn't really mean anything.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How people can make such outdated prejudices like racism and homophobia such an integral part of their personality instead of realizing how embarassing it is to those around them and how big of an idiot it makes them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying the fact that I don't have to go to work for two days and sometimes planning a motorcycle ride.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
hmmm...nothing super secret that I can think of. I'm sure I'll think of things to tell you about if we meet.
You should message me if
You're looking for a non-monogamous friend you can see once in a while with no obligations. I'm in an LTR but we see other people occasionally and it makes us happier together too.

You should definitely message me if you're GGG and understand what ethical non-monogamy really means.

I'm pretty busy with the rest of my life/job but sometimes it's necessary to step out of normal life and take care of yourself.
