My self-summary
I spend the majority of my time working and what free time I do have tends to go towards activism and causes that I care about. I'm very passionate and put my all into everything I do. Veganism is a really big part of my life; I'm very much an anti-speciest. I'm pretty new to the polyamory scene. I'm also a huge history nerd. I got my BA in history from USF, and enjoy reading history books and spirited discussions/arguments on various aspects of it. Social/political history is my favorite to learn about and, of course, be a part of! It's a very exciting time to be alive.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and trying to do my best to make this world a little better of a place. I'm a revolutionary in every sense of the word. I want to turn this whole world upside down.
I’m really good at
Being awkward, overly dramatic, and inattentive to detail. I'm also pretty good at Galaga.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either my piercings or tattoos. I've also been told my laugh is very distinctive.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - I mostly read non-fiction, usually history or political theory. I like reading information that I can apply to my daily life. My favorite authors are Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and Mao.

Movies - I like a wide range of movies. I'm a huge fan of foreign movies, some of my favorite ones are Goodbye Lenin, The Baadermeinhoff Complex, and Nightwatch. I love horror, Pinhead and Freddy Krueger are my favorites. I love dark comedies too, Wes Anderson is one of my favorite directors. My favorite movie is The Crow, with Donnie Darko being a close second.
I also love anything Miyazaki. Lost In Translation is amazing; Bill Murray is one of my favorite actors.
I also think Harold and Maude is one of the most romantic movies ever.

Shows - Breaking Bad, Cheers, Greek, That 70's Show, Caprica, Invader Zim, Cowboy Bebop, Penny Dreadful, Portlandia and American Horror Story

Music - My taste in music is very eclectic. I like industrial, EBM, goth, metal, rock, house, old school rap, etc. Some of my favorite bands are The Cure, Joy Division, Skinny Puppy, Switchblade Symphony, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy, The Smiths, Bellw and Sebastian, Death in June, Gary Numan and VNV Nation. I jam out to 80's music on a regular basis, post punk is my fave.
Radio-wise, I'm fond of listening to WMNF and KEXP.
Food - Vegan. I like Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Mexican. I'm always up for getting falafel. I enjoy cooking quite a bit. I've been starting to cook a lot more lately, and I find it very therapeutic.
Six things I could never do without
1. My partner
2. Passion
3. Justice
4. Friends
5. Family
6. Nature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to overthrow capitalism, how to move liberals to the left.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after a long work week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm naturally quite shy and anti-confrontational, which is a direct contrast to the life I try to lead. Overcoming these things is a daily struggle for me.
You should message me if
You care about social justice. I really can't connect with people that are cool with the status quo. Definitely message me if you share a love of 80's music. And for sure message me if you're vegan.
