My self-summary
Hello world. As you can see - I also have a profile, a name (David), and a face (pictures). I'm on here to run into people who want depth and connection. I am always open to new prospects, new adventures, and new risks. Without growth, there is no reason for living. That being said - I also like my daily routine as well just like everyone else does. If I'm not working, I'm usually reading or doing something mechanically inclined as that is generally what interests me. I live life for what it is, and I take the cards I'm dealt with a smile. That's just how I do it. Outside of that, I guess I'm just another guy out there trying to build my life in a meaningful direction so I can help others.
What I’m doing with my life
I currently do logistics for the government (DoD). I'd say my days are much like everyone else's collectively. I have a great job working with some awesome people, so I can't complain. I'm busy squirreling away money for a house currently, along with working on my cars.
I’m really good at
There's a lot of things people are good at. I'm sure I have my talents also, but I think it's really hard to pinpoint these things as important. I like building on cars, writing, drawing, martial arts, and about 18 billion other things that I could go on forever about. I really don't like this question, as it almost sounds like you're feeding a major ego problem through a question, haha.
The first things people usually notice about me
Everyone is different. I'd probably say most notice how outgoing I am. I'm comfortable being myself everywhere and around anyone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Montey Python, The Killing Zone, Lord of the Rings, Forgotten Soldier, Terminator, Saving Private Ryan, Apocolypse Now, Adult Swim (Cartoon Network), Metalocalypse, ATHF, Perfect Hair, TMNT, Thundercats, Transformers, The complete works of Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, and just about any other Philosopher, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in a Shell series, Family Guy/American Dad, Aliens trilogy, and a whole lot more I'm sure.... oh, and the History channel even though it's massively degraded over the past 6 years into reality TV.

I'd go into music, but that list is entirely too long. I listen to mainstream and underground equally, so we won't even go there.
Six things I could never do without
1. Cars
2. GOOD Food
3. Powerade
4. my job
5. Steak and Shake whenever it's 2AM.
6. the internet, of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Absolutely everything you can possibly imagine. I tend to be a deep thinker, and I'm always thinking about something that interests me throughout the day. There's always something new and interesting to learn out there. I don't overthink anything, moreso just being very analytical about things pertaining to my interest.
On a typical Friday night I am
My Friday nights these days I usually spend winding down from a long week. I'd argue that my Friday night is much like everyone else's - looking for something to do with the time you have until the grind starts all over again on Monday.. right?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no problems talking with anyone and everyone. Our society has gotten so paranoid it's ridiculous. Some people are a little offset by it, and others love it.. Not to say I go starting random conversations with every single person, but I can comfortably say I've met a lot of great people that way.. if that makes sense.
You should message me if
- You're a normal human being that isn't problematic/psycho, and have a sense of realistic goals about yourself and others. If you're comfortable being yourself we'll get along fine. Actually, that's kind of mandatory.. so, yeah. Do that and we'll be A+.
- You like deep, intelligent conversation. No, really. I'm talking those 2-3 hour conversations that start from thoughts of humanity all the way to the existence and proposition of Flux, or maybe even time relativity and how it applies.. or why people do the things they do, or whatever. I like INTELLIGENT people. There, I said it.
- Because you're curious

Oh, and just to be clear (in the nicest way possible, I swear) - I do message people when I see something that interests me; particularly if something stands out to me as something I'd like to know/learn more about.. so don't assume that I'm hitting on you/macking/want a piece of that just because I send you a message with the intent simply being curiousity. As far as anything else - you should message me if you want to talk.. because I've always got something to say in regards to just about anything.
